JI Hotel (Beijing Zhongguancun Renmin University Subway Station)

The hygiene was absolutely terrible. I only realized how filthy everything was late at night after checking in, as I was busy checking emails. And since check-in took so long, I couldn't be bothered to complain. First off, there were unknown stains on the toilet seat, and no disposable seat covers. The hangers were covered in thick dust, as was the telephone. There were mysterious stains on the bathroom doorframe and tiles (looked like sprayed coffee or soda). And I have no idea what the stains on the sofa were. All in all, it was a very bad stay. There were no power outlets near the desk, and the one on the desk didn't work, so I couldn't charge my laptop!

This is the worst all-season hotel I've ever stayed at. 1. The floor layout is bizarre; you have to take two elevators to get there. 2. During check-in, they asked me to scan a QR code, claiming it was for registration, but it was actually to make me follow all their public accounts. They even asked for a verification code! I really dislike this kind of behavior where they invade your privacy under the guise of routine procedures without fully disclosing what they're doing. 3. The hotel interior reeked. As soon as you walked in, there was a massive, unsightly toilet. The bathroom didn't even have a door, and there were hairs on the toilet seat. 4. The absolute worst part: the disposable toothpaste was already opened! Unbelievable. 5. My takeout arrived at the front desk at 10:06 PM, and it still hadn't been delivered to my room by 10:30 PM. My noodles were all clumpy...

The window opens onto the hallway, which felt very unsafe! The glass only had a thin frosted sticker on it. I had to lock the window and pull down the curtains for safety and privacy, which is ridiculous! To make matters worse, there was a ~7cm x 1.5cm tear in the curtain, which was super weird! I had no choice but to stuff it with tissue paper 😓. If you're concerned about safety, especially if you're a solo female traveler, seriously, don't even consider this place~😢

What kind of hotel is this??? At best, it's a guesthouse! How can this even be a part of the Ji Hotel chain???? Honestly, even selling it at the price of a Hanting Hotel would be a stretch! It's on the 20th floor, so you have to switch elevators, and after all that, you get to a room that's an attic with a slanted ceiling! The total height is less than 2.1 meters, you can't even fully extend your arms! Room 2001 is disgustingly awful! The toilet seat is stained and dirty and hasn't been replaced!
