Beijing Yuanzhu Xiaoshe Villa

My parents and I had an amazing stay this February! The 2nd to 4th floors offer great privacy and are really quiet. Opening the window, you're greeted by the beautifully lit Gubei Water Town, and looking up, you can see the magnificent Great Wall at night – my parents absolutely loved it. The room was clean and cozy, with full amenities and comfortable bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep for the elderly. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, sending directions in advance, recommending local delicacies, and being very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed both the beautiful scenery and the human touch during our stay. We'll definitely choose this place again when we come back to Gubei!

Great location, nice views. The cleanliness was okay, and the service was just average. The room felt old and the balcony was a bit run down.

The room was quite clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and the heating in winter was excellent. The facilities were all there. The villa area is also very close to the scenic spot, you're there as soon as you leave the complex. The owner provided great service, and the hygiene was up to standard. Definitely recommended.

This was by far the worst B&B I've ever booked. It was so bad that we didn't even check in that night, effectively throwing our money away, and had to book another room at a nearby B&B! 1. The hygiene was appalling; the floors, tables, sheets, and duvet covers were all incredibly dirty! 2. Almost all the lights were flickering, which was extremely dazzling! 3. The bathroom drain had a terrible stench that made me want to vomit! 4. The owner was completely dishonest! Before we left, I specifically asked the owner twice if we could enter the ancient town without pre-booking tickets. The owner emphatically said yes but claimed he could only reveal the method after we booked the room. When we arrived, the method the owner suggested was to buy tickets on Xianyu (a second-hand marketplace app). We told him there were no tickets available on Xianyu that day! The owner then said another method was to plead with the staff and sweet-talk them into letting us in! That was absolutely outrageous! Later, having no other options, we did go and try to sweet-talk them! The result, as you can imagine, was that there was no way they would let us in! The owner would lie about anything just to sell a room! Truly a person of poor character!!!

The room looks exactly like the pictures, with great natural light. You can see the Great Wall perfectly through the window, and it's super convenient to get to the scenic area, just a three-minute walk. If you're driving, you can park inside the complex, and there are plenty of spaces!

The room was cozy, clean, and the service was excellent. I especially loved that this room type came with a small courtyard! It's just a stone's throw from Gubei Water Town, a 5-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants outside the complex, making it super convenient for breakfast and brunch! ❤❤❤

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and had a really cozy vibe. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, even helping us plan our itinerary since it was our first time visiting – that was a huge bonus. The hotel's location is super convenient, less than a hundred meters from the scenic area. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

Clean and hygienic, the room was very warm, and it's super close to the entrance, which is really convenient. Plus, Gubei Water Town currently has free admission, which is a great bonus!
