The apartment was well located and clean for chineese standards. We had a bigger issue contacting owner because they don't speak english. We were here in november and it was very cold in the apartment. We thought we would freeze, however the blankets in the apartment were warm so it compensated a little.

We were never able to reach the hosts to ask for the Wi-Fi code, as neither of the two rooms we booked had a working connection. The mattress was as hard as a rock — which seems to be common in Asia, though I still don’t understand why! Finding the place was also quite challenging. We ended up asking a man walking his dogs for help, and he took us to a convenience store where we had to check in. How were we supposed to know that on our own? On the positive side, the view over the city and the Great Wall is beautiful, and the room does have heating. Unfortunately, we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on properly, so it didn’t work during our stay.

This stay was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and clean, and the amenities were all included, making it incredibly convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, proactively recommending nearby restaurants. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Transportation was also convenient, and the value for money was excellent. I gave it a perfect score and will definitely be back!

The room was very well furnished and fully equipped, and overall I was satisfied. However, the walk from Parking Lot 1 to the room was at least 1.3 kilometers, and there was no shuttle. This was quite disappointing for us, exhausted from climbing the Great Wall. The shuttle service cost 30 yuan per trip, but on the last day, they called to inform us that they couldn't help with our luggage, which was a real problem for families traveling with large luggage.
