NUO Resort Hotel-Universal Beijing Resort

The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room type so that my friends and I could stay in adjacent rooms, which really showed the hotel's thoughtful and meticulous service. The room layout was well-designed, and there were lovely, exquisite tea leaves provided. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the swimming pool, which felt almost like a private session – the kids had a blast! There was a lifeguard constantly patrolling the poolside, who was very responsible. The next day, we skipped breakfast to get to the park early. A staff member guided us from the North Tower exit; it was a 5-minute walk to the Universal Hotel's ground floor entrance, where we scanned our IDs and went through security to enter the park. After finishing a few rides in the morning, we came back around 10 AM to pack up and check out. We even received souvenir room cards, which happened to feature an IP that my child loves. Choosing to stay at the NUO Hotel was definitely the right decision; the entire trip felt just perfect. Before leaving in the evening, we had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the fish soup with baby bok choy was amazing! My friends and the kids were all very satisfied with the entire stay. The only feedback from my friend was that the parking fee felt a bit unreasonable for guests, and they hoped the pricing policy could be adjusted or that some complimentary parking time could be offered.

To make things easier during my Universal Studios trip for Chinese New Year, I booked a stay at NUO. In terms of the rooms and ambiance, it's definitely a step up from the Universal Studios Grand Hotel. I booked an Executive King Room, and I felt the North building was a bit quieter. The room was quite spacious and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was also pretty diverse. Aside from the location not being as good as the Universal Studios Grand Hotel, everything else was excellent. The service attitude was also great.
