The service was excellent; they proactively helped me with my luggage. The complimentary drinks in the room were also a nice touch: Bama mineral water, Beibingyang soda, and NFC orange juice. The sour plum soup in the lobby on the first floor was very refreshing. I also got a free photoshoot, which was a great bonus. While the subway isn't as convenient, if you're not in a hurry, there are two bus stops very close to the hotel. The hotel is situated right in Nanluoguxiang which makes it very easy to visit it and get food there. It is also convenient to visit shichahai from there. On the down side, cars can't get in, which means we had to drag our luggage for a 100-200 m before getting there. Once we step into the hotel, all the hustle of the outside street immediately disappeared. The deco is very soothing and immediately relaxes you.
