The room was nice and spacious. More importantly, the location is incredibly convenient, and the service was great! It was also easy to find places to eat. During Chinese New Year, this area wasn't affected by traffic restrictions, so both taxis and public transport were readily available.

Great environment, excellent location, and a reasonable price. Gulou Metro Station is right near the hotel, and Tongye BBQ is just across the street. It's super convenient to get to attractions within the Second Ring Road, whether by taxi or subway.

The room was tiny; once my luggage was open, there was no space left. The walls looked old and the curtains were dirty. It seemed like the sink and pillowcases hadn't been cleaned at all, as there were short men's hairs. The veneer on the bedside table was peeling off, which felt like a safety hazard.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, as it's a national cultural heritage site. The location is superb, right next to the subway and the Drum Tower. The service is also excellent! Comfortable environment. The room is clean, they would change towels everyday. Although the room is small, we need to take turn to open the luggage, but it is warm. Eventhough is winter, we didn't get cold, can wear normal pajamas inside the room temperature.
The workers are friendly, helpful and kind. This si he yuan concept hotel is recommended to who wanna experience the atmosphere and environment.
They provide washing machine and water dispenser.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Especially the service!!! They even helped me receive my food delivery! Free luggage storage is a huge plus. The ambiance is also beautiful, truly capturing the feel of a Beijing siheyuan (quadrangle courtyard)! We even got to experience a snowfall, which was super pretty! I particularly want to praise the cleaning service 🧹, it was incredibly thorough and meticulous!!! They even tidied up my little bears and dogs, the auntie is so cute! My pajamas were neatly folded too, hahaha. The room was super clean! Next time I come to Beijing, I will definitely choose this place again, I loved it so much! Very close to the subway station, and the room is beautiful – I felt like I could easily spend an entire afternoon just relaxing there.

The room was small with very limited space for belongings, which was inconvenient for travelers with a lot of luggage or personal items. Pro - the staff were always ready to help and willing to assist with even the smallest requests. Many thanks to the wonderful staff for their exceptional hospitality!
Pro - good location, Guloudajie (鼓楼大街) station is just few minutes walks away (E North West exit)
You can access subway Line 2 and 8 here, Line 8 can bring you to many tourist spots; there are a Lawson convenience store in the station, a local wet market (新民菜市场) across the big busy roads and a supermarket (喜友邻综合超市) when you turn right from the hotel's hutong; walk further down from the supermarket and you will find the McDonald's
Con - terrible sound isolation; unfortunately we had noisy neighbors so we couldn't sleep well at night, there's a school nearby so you can expect some noise during school hours
Con - we got a poorly maintained room - torn paper door, cracked tiles, chipped paints, old kettle; the heater wasn't doing a very good job so the bathroom was always cold (the central heating hadn't started during our visit), there was no fridge, no other beverages in the room except 2 bottles of drinking water; certain areas of the courtyard were rather messy and untidy
