Super 8 Preferred Hotel (Beijing South Station Qianmen Friendship Hospital)

The room isn't huge, but the heating works great, it's clean, and has all the basic amenities. The front desk service was also quite good. Transportation isn't super convenient; there's a bus stop within 300 meters, but the subway is 1.5km away. If you're not in a hurry, it's a nice walk to explore Beijing's hutongs. It's not far from Qianmen and Dashilar if you fancy a stroll, and also quite close to the Temple of Heaven, Yongdingmen, and the National Museum of Natural History. Plus, there's the Deyun Society's Tianqiao Theater nearby.

The place is very clean, the environment is great, and the location is excellent for getting around easily. The staff are all very friendly. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

The service was quite good, and the room was relatively clean. The location is also pretty convenient, with Metro Lines 7 and 8, as well as bus stops nearby. For closer destinations, the bus is more convenient, while the subway is better for longer distances. Typically, when returning from the Tiananmen area, taking bus route 59 or 66 brings you back to the hotel.

The service was excellent; they were very responsive to all my requests and even let me check out late for free, which was a great help with my luggage. The room I booked didn't have a window, so the ventilation wasn't great. There was a slight smell from the bathroom drain, but it disappeared once I closed the bathroom door and turned on the air conditioning. Everything else was quite clean. However, the soundproofing wasn't very good. If you need it, I'd recommend booking a premium double room. They were fully booked when I arrived that night, so I had to make do with this one. The space was a bit small, and my large suitcase easily got in the way of the door when opened. Overall, the environment was decent, the service was great, and the location was excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. But if other room types are available, it's definitely worth upgrading to a better one. This time, it was fully booked, and there were no other options. Otherwise, no major complaints.
