THE YARD HOTEL BEIJING, Tian'anmen Square

An absolute 10/10 stay! We genuinely loved The Yard and would happily stay here again. The customer service was top-notch, every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel itself has so much character. The traditional exterior is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the red lanterns light up at night, while inside our room was surprisingly spacious, cozy and beautifully decorated. We loved having a proper bathtub, the hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay, and housekeeping was excellent. Fresh towels, bottled water and other necessities were replenished daily, which we really appreciated. The location was another highlight! Step outside and you’re immediately surrounded by a lively street filled with shops and so much amazing street food, which we absolutely adored. Comfortable, welcoming, full of character and a wonderful base for exploring Beijing. Thank you to the lovely staff for making our stay so memorable!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Yard in Beijing. The location is excellent – very central and convenient for visiting Tiananmen Square and many of Beijing’s main attractions. It was a perfect base for exploring the city centre and getting a great impression of Beijing. Check-in was easy and efficient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything worked perfectly and we had absolutely nothing to complain about. We booked the room without breakfast, so we cannot comment on the breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant stay with excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well-located and comfortable place to stay in central Beijing.

Nice hotel in the center of the main tourist area. Good value if you’re looking to be near the main tourist activities. My only complaint is that I wish their was a window, it’s shown in the picture but you’re unable to open or get any sunlight. Would still recommend.

The most gorgeous hotel in the most gorgeous location I cannot write it enough the amenities were perfect. The staff was so polite highly recommend.

What a FANTASTIC location!!! Plus the area is beautifully decorated and designed. The hotel itself is a bit dated - at least my room was- and the day staff could have been more pleasant/helpful, but it seemed like they didn't want any responsibility for making bad suggestions for example. The evening staff were helpful in getting me an extra blanket. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's convenient location, but maybe choose a higher standing room.

Stayed in China for 28 days and travelled throughout many parts. This was hands down our favorite hotel. The Staff are INCREDIBLE, they will help you with anything and are always available. 10/10 would recommend. Worth every penny!
