Lianjie Hotel

I stayed here over a decade ago, and honestly, I was expecting it to be quite dated. But to my pleasant surprise, it was incredibly clean and well-maintained, both inside and out. The service was excellent too. There was plenty of parking available, the breakfast was delicious, and the surrounding area was very convenient with supermarkets and shops all around.

The room is very spacious and well-equipped with a refrigerator and a separated wet and dry bathroom. Parking is also convenient. My only issue is that the air conditioner's fan blades were quite dirty, which was a bit off-putting.

Dirty! Messy! Terrible! This is pure false advertising! The promotional photos must have been taken when it first opened. Besides being large, there's nothing good about this place. Please see the real pictures below. Picture 1: The bedside table. The cleanliness is truly concerning. Picture 2: The carpet. Dirty! Smelly! I felt like I couldn't even touch it. Picture 3: The toilet. Small, smelly, and the buttons weren't working. Picture 4: The shower room. Very strong and foul cigarette smell. The walls were yellowed from smoke, the showerhead wasn't working properly, and even at the hottest setting, the water wasn't hot enough. Picture 5: A row of strange cabinets right as you enter. It felt unsettling. And the hairdryer? What era are we in? They can't even bother to replace it. It's still one of those old, broken things from ten years ago that feels like it's going to catch fire and has almost no airflow! The experience was incredibly poor and inconvenient. Dragging luggage means you have to go through a small path from the parking lot. I strongly advise against staying here!!! It completely ruined my mood.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and even gave me a free upgrade to a suite, which I really appreciate. Getting such a spacious suite for this price in Beijing is an amazing deal. The room environment was exceptionally clean, practically no complaints at all. Plus, their breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and delicious. Excellent all around! Next time I'm in Beijing, I'm definitely staying here again!!!!!!
