This is a real old Beijing courtyard house located in a hutong. You can bike to Tiananmen Square in about 10 minutes using a shared bicycle. The surrounding hutongs also have many interesting little shops and art galleries, where you can meet many traditional Beijing artisans. Although the courtyard is small, it has everything you need, offering a natural sense of tranquility. We had a pretty good night's sleep, and breakfast is served in the morning, including their homemade Zhajiangmian. The upstairs breakfast area was a pleasant surprise, filled with flowers and grapevines. It's truly a quiet oasis in the bustling city. You can feel the owners' dedication in managing this courtyard. If you're planning to visit Tiananmen Square or the Forbidden City, I highly recommend it; its proximity saves a lot of time.

It's a Chinese-style courtyard, very quiet inside, offering an immersive experience of a traditional Beijing Siheyuan. It's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Great Hall of the People. They also offer meals, which were very satisfying. Plus, there are outfits you can change into for photos, making the experience truly amazing. I'll definitely be back!

Less than a thousand! What's it like staying in a Beijing siheyuan (courtyard house)? ⛩️ The glazed tile roof, right at the foot of the Imperial City, is absolutely stunning. The grey bricks, black tiles, and vermilion doorways truly capture the essence of old Beijing, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The guest rooms are elegantly antique, featuring solid wood furniture paired with smart bathrooms, and the bedding is soft and clean. You can try on Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free and take photos, and the courtyard terrace offers fantastic views. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive. The authentic zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) for breakfast is incredibly flavorful, and the hutong (alleyway) streets are within walking distance. This is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Beijing and my top choice for bringing friends to visit! 🥂

I wanted to experience Beijing's Siheyuan culture with my kids, and the recommendation from my mom's group was absolutely spot on! It's so convenient and relaxing to grab a tea or coffee after a long day of exploring. Tucked away in Qianmen Hutong, the atmosphere is wonderful, and you can even borrow parent-child Hanfu for free photos, which adds a lovely touch. The location is super convenient, right in an old Beijing hutong with tons of restaurants nearby.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to Tiananmen Square. There's a rooftop terrace where you can get a panoramic view of Beijing, and it even has green grapes growing on the pergola, creating a wonderfully atmospheric spot for an evening stroll. The room itself is also very spacious.
