Ibis Belfast Queens Quarter

This was a subsidized hotel. I booked a cheap apartment through the platform, but couldn't reach anyone. They couldn't sell it either, but the platform handled it promptly. They then asked me to book another hotel, and they covered the subsidy. They even followed up within an hour to check if I had booked it, which was quite good. It started off as a bad experience though, mainly because it was cold and rainy with no shelter. I was freezing, almost collapsing from the cold, and my waist felt like it was going to break from standing in the cold. There was no restroom either! Luckily, there was a mechanic shop across the street where I could relieve myself. That owner who didn't operate but also didn't delist their property was really causing trouble! Hotels, even if a bit more expensive, are definitely different – the rooms are much larger, and someone empties the trash daily, and there's tea and coffee.
