Hotel Orasac Garni

We put our belongings inside the room safe and on the day of check-out, I tried to open the safe however did not open. Hotel manager is informed and they couldnt open the door until 7 hours later with 4 different people inc. from safe company. We missed our flight on the same day due to hotel’s incapability. So, I needed to rebook our flights, fully paid for new flights. Hotel manager PROMISED AND CONFIRMED multiple times in front of 4 eye witnesses (hotel reception too) that he will cover the flight expenses. One week later, he refused to pay. Svetislav YOU ARE a LIAR and I deeply hope one day what you did to me will cause you to lose something important in your life, I am using all my wishes for this…

Good choice A lovely hotel. The staff was beneficial and polite. It is a little bit out of hand if you plan to visit the city center but on the other hand it is in the very calm part of the town.

Nice hotel, bad staff and hospitality. The cleanliness, food and overall stay was very pleasant, and it's a lovely room with an excellent shower. However, the positive impressions were dampened by the service levels, which are simply not ok for a 4 star hotel. 1. I had a friend come with me to my room to wait just so I can grab a few things and that we can head back out again. Within less than 5 minutes, I get a call from the front desk warning me with a stern warning that it's a single room and they saw me get up with another person there, etc. It was 2 in the afternoon, and less than 5 minutes. Completely unacceptable. 2. The room doesn't have a water settle boiler, so I went down to ask for a cup of boiled water for my tea. Person was friendly, and tried to be helpful, but all she did was fill the cup with luke warm tap water from the fosset. 3. I come down for breakfast, and there's nothing there, no food, no plates, nothing at all. I get back to the reception, ask about it and she adamantly says "no, you must have not seen it, it's right there" only to see that it's all empty, and then make a pivot in the story, and offer me an omlet, which was eggcellent (not a typo, an intended pun), but that's beside the point. 4. During breakfast, there is nice music playing in the restaurant area, and it would have been even more enjoyable if it weren't for the fact that the kitchen staff was blasting on full volume over the mobile phone speaker truly awful music that over powered everything. Nice hotel, bad staff.

We have stayed here only for a night as Belgrade was more or less in the middle of our trip hence my review is only for an overnight stay. We picked the hotel as it had breakfast included and a 24/7 reception. We arrived ~ around 10 PM and we managed to find parking in the courtyard though we traveled on a not-so-busy day. From what I could see there were 3 designated parking places and maybe the option to park another car in front of the hotel's stairs. You can park on the street as well but be advised that you are in a neighborhood where people live so depending on the hour you might have a bit of a hard time finding where to park. The room was big, warm, and clean. There was hot water for a shower for both of me and my partner. If is one thing I hate is arriving late at a hotel wanting to take a shower and not having proper hot water. The room had even slippers and the mattress was really nice to sleep on. Overall for us with a small kid was a good decision to spend the night as we had a quiet, clear room and the next day a good breakfast to start the day.
