I stay two nights in total at the Mercure Bendigo Schaller during Grand Prix Weekend. This was my first time travelling to Bendigo. I was very satisfied with the outstanding customer service and the very friendly staff here at the hotel. Location of hotel was good with central access to everything in town. Rooms are quite small and bathroom is almost like a dorm but I must say it was very clean. It would be great if there was a streaming service or casting available with the TV. My Bed was a little uncomfortable but I still managed to sleep in. There is very limited car spaces availble on site but parking is availble next door to hospital and is only $8 a day. Overall I was quite satisfied with everything and enjoyed my time here in Bendigo. I will most likely stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great stay, easy check in, rooms cleaned daily even though we were a mess 🤣 We stayed in Bendigo to watch our son at the National Youth Volleyball championships so we were in and out all week. Barclay on View was ideal as we were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops etc. along with the beautiful parks and gardens of Bendigo. And it was just a short drive to the Red Energy Arena. Thankyou!!!

Last stay here I was up the back row of rooms parallel with the train track and didn't enjoy it. This time they put me in the main building on the second floor, so the room was far newer and no train noises to worry about. Only thing I didn't like was the door between two rooms, as next door it sounded like several young people were having a get together/small party, as very noisy! Otherwise the room was very spacious, clean and fine as was. Plenty of parking around, looked like enough for every room, which was better than some other accommodations I have stayed at in Bendigo. Restaurant was closed at the time due to covid, so not even room service available, but some local takeaways still delivered instead. There was no breakfast available at the time, either, due to covid. I would consider staying here again, but not in a room near the train track!!

I have stayed at the Central Deborah Motel twice in the last month and I can honestly say that it is one of the best motels I have ever visited. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the amenities are excellent. The motel is conveniently located near the city center and the Central Deborah Gold Mine, which is a must-see attraction. What impressed me the most was the huge attention to detail that the motel owners have put into making sure that every customer’s needs are met. From hugely friendly and personal staff to the free Wi-Fi ,toiletries and snacks in the room, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Bendigo.

Had some dramas initially as I had booked this through ********** and had to change the room and it was messy however Tracey at Allawah was so helpful and rang me, emailed me and in the end, it was sorted, no fault of Allawah. We stayed 2 nights, 2 couples in the Maisonette rooms (approx 100 year old building) and we had a great time. It was clean. Jarrod(?) was particularly helpful when we got there and checked us in without us doing a thing! He then went out of his way to get us included on a fully booked pizza night. He organised a table and it was a great night. The maisonette rooms are directly next to the outdoor area. We were upstairs Room 4 and my sister and her party were downstairs. I like the convenience of the rooms being in the area of the outdoor area, although it may not suit everyone. The rooms were comfortable and they were cool and breezy nights but the rooms were warm without heating. We didn't eat at the wine bank, so I won't comment but the pizza night was worth the $25 per head for pizza. Conveniently located. The only downside was there is not much parking available out back but we got a park. Thanks for the stay and thanks to both Tracey and Jarrod. Be safe!

Facilities: After all, it is an old hotel with a good location. There are entertainment and dining areas on the first floor, and the rooms are large. I saw that there were double rooms, but suddenly it was no longer available. It feels strange to have 2 people sleeping in 3 beds Hygiene: It's OK, clean and tidy, but it doesn't feel like it is regularly maintained Environment: Classic, good location, close to the train station, within walking distance Service: There is no front desk reception, and you only need to throw the key into a box when checking out. We arrived in Bendigo by train and walked to the motel which was a 15minute walk and the location was great. Staff were friendly and let us check in early and asked us which milk we want and told us about the lookout tower step counting challenge. The room was great and the only downside was the absence of a shower curtain and there were no overhead lights. There were more than enough towels and soap a toothbrush and toothpaste as well as Shampoo and other toiletries were all provided. The table was small but had cutlery a toaster, kettle, microwave, tea coffe and a fridge. They also have breakfast starting from $8 but we decided not to opt. If they had a stove you could probably stay there for a week but without one it’s perfect for a overnight stay or 2 night stay.
