The Falls Guest House

Just spent two days at this charming self catering guest house which offered every amenity in comfort and quiet setting. Very clean. Very conveniently situated for the Augrabies Falls. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with ample room to relax and a dining area. The only problem was sporadic internet which was difficult in the room but it is quite remote.

We booked a double room, but got a 2 bedroom, 6 sleeper instead because they were fully booked. The unit had a kitchen and braai area and huge bathroom. The bed was comfortable and big. The unit was decorated in good taste. Breakfast was excellent. Augrabies Falls is very close by.

We had s lovely stop over here. The guest house is very impressive, with our room being very spacious, impeccably clean and beautiful furnished. Very comfortable to recharge for the next day. They offer breakfast, but for dinner you can either braai on site, or reception will need to assist you with a reservation at the very nearby Augrabies National Park restaurant. You are allowed on the park after closing with special permission to eat at the restaurant. We left very early but unfortunately didn't know where to leave our key. A key box would be recommended for the property, and a more informative room booklet with details regarding early check out, restuarant recommendations, and wifi passwords. That would be my only constructive criticism. Area information and pamphlets are readily available at reception for activities in and around Augrabies.

We stayed in a well furnished room with lovely décor and the self catering kitchen was well equipped. The linen was 100% and the bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water and amenities provided in the bathroom. Lovely gardens and quite atmosphere to engender a relaxing stay. This is a very nice Guest House and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
