We stayed at this hotel in 2013 it was amazing, greeted by the lobby staff handed refreshing towels & a hot drink. The staff on reception were nothing but amazing and the facilities around the hotel second to none, it was a wow. So we thought we would finish our Spanish tour there for a few days before flying home, what a disappointment, this is not the same hotel? We walk in to no reception to be honest we waited for 15 minutes to be seen at the reception, we were then sent to a room that is what I can only describe as an age away from reception and on the way we meet others lost that have just been sent on there merry way to find there rooms. The room was tired and can only be described as having a tart up for the sake of it with paint on the floor and glass. There is no coffee in the room just earl grey tea and a bucket of sugar. We asked if we could have milk and some coffee sachets and was told we had to order through room service at a cost 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ why supply a kettle?? Everything had a price tag. It was a joke vastly overpriced 2 bowls of soup and 2 half’s of beer €46 🥺 2no G&T €36. We asked reception from the vast amount of restaurants they offer if we could get a table and we were told the only one open was the Italian, but we’ve come to Asia gardens ?? We end up in the bar where they now do food, we order prawns in a sambel emulsion sounded amazing, what we get is Costco prawns with a sweet chilli dip. We ask for the chicken tikka masala with fragrant jasmine rice, we get boil in the bag chicken tikka salty & powdery taste with microwaved in a cup long grain rice. You would expect to get this at a supermarket cafe. There is no where to get a bar snack around the pool areas which we used too, you have to wait till 4.30 or pay the astronomical price at the Ala Cart. We ended up going out for food on the last night our experience of the food was so poor. Positive breakfast was ok. Gardens are beautiful. We would not recommend this hotel at all. It is vastly overpriced for the quality of stay. What a shame it was amazing.

Hello! My husband and I came to the hotel for 2 nights on Valentine's Day. We are currently living in room 7306. The hotel is advertised as 5 stars, but the service in the Spa is terrible. The holiday was ruined. I was booked in for a massage at 5:30 p.m., arrived early at 5:20 p.m., I was told to wait by the pool at 5:37 p.m., I returned to the reception and asked where my massage therapist was, they told me wait. The masseuse arrived 10 minutes late, no one apologized. We went into the massage room, the masseuse at first held back and breathed through her mouth, after 10 minutes she coughed and blew her nose, this is unpleasant! I asked if you were sick, please put on a mask, she said there were no masks and no problem. She could not breathe through her nose and blew her nose.I told me it’s unbearable, unpleasant and I’m afraid of getting sick, instead of relaxation there’s a lot of tension. The masseuse said you want another person, I asked yes please! After 5 minutes the masseuse returned and said there would be no other master, I could leave. I was surprised to come to the administrator and told her the situation. She wanted to bill me for half an hour of massage. I was shocked, instead of apologizing and offering to resolve my situation, they treated me dismissively and wanted me to pay! I said that we were in the office for 15 minutes and I asked to give the mask to the masseuse or to give it to another master. And their master was late and could still infect clients. In general, the mood was terribly spoiled.

Perfect from start to finish. Good food and massage. Hgjy recommend the langkawi suite making you feel intimate and private. Top service quality Came for 2 nights. Late checkout possible but 20€/h. Regarding the price of the suite. Late check out should be free if room not booked to respect the 5 * style.

Stayed for a week in a superior de-luxe room on half board with jet2 indulgent escapes. We had previously stayed here in 2018. We liked this hotel the first time we stayed which is why when the opportunity for a short stay arose in a busy schedule we chose to book again. Everything was good, the vast majority of staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. We missed dinner on the first night due to our late arrival, the following night we went to the main dining room which was good. On Sunday night the main dining room was closed and when we went to the Customer relations staff desk we were told the main dining room was closed for 2 days which later turned out to be incorrect. On the night we expected the main dining room to re-open it was still closed and in our opinion we were not offered an acceptable alternative. The lack of any effective communication about our dining arrangements was inexplicable. We went to the customer relations desk to request that 2 friends were coming to visit us and were told we could not entertain them in the hotel which we accepted but the received a firm instruction that they could not enter the hotel under any circumstances. I asked to speak with the hotel Manager twice with different customer relations staff members which didn't happen. Our recommendation to the hotel management is that they review staff training and attitudes in the customer relations role and make somebody responsible for effective customer communications.

Upon arrival, the hotel's incredible gardens and pools are astonishingly beautiful and the hotel, which doesn't allow non-residents to access any of the facilities, is a haven of peace and calm. The service we had at just about every meal really let the experience down. For breakfast, we didn't even manage to get a hot drink for any of the breakfasts we had (service was chaotic and it was impossible to get the attention of any of the serving staff who looked completely frenetic and understaffed). The breakfast selection was mediocre at best and, as I say, service was just shambolic. It actually became an in-joke between me and my partner i.e. "do we think we'll get a coffee today?". We never really had a good meal at the hotel - on our last day at the Zen Pool restaurant I had a terribly undercooked burger that was completely raw inside and probably dangerous to eat - I sent it back but it came back still raw on the inside and charred on the outside - the experience was a real disappointment on our last day. The one exception was the KOH SAMUI - excellent service and excellent food so well done to the team at that restaurant.

Booked with Jet2 holidays for an 8 night break leaving the hotel on the 12th Sept. The grounds, pools and general appearance of the hotel were excellent. Our room was described as a superior deluxe and was a good size, generally well equiped but getting a little tired. Please note if you like a view from your room I guess you would have to request this, our view was of tropical foilage directly in front of the balcony, it really didnt concern us too much though. There were an abundance of restaurants onsite but only one or two open at one time, in fact the main buffet restaurant was closed one night for no apparent reason! It would be useful if the hotel informed their customers on a daily basis or on a weekly schedule which restaurants were going to be available, lack of communication is not good. Having stayed at many 5 star establishments around the world I would not rate this as 5 stars. My view is that Jet 2 should classify it as a 4star+ in their brochure. It is however very nice and worth a visit .

The hotel was beautiful with beautiful surrounding and great clean rooms. The pools and the facilities were amazing, the restaurants for both breakfast and buffet dinner were really good with great variety of food. Very satisfied. The gardens were remarkable. The staff were mostly good, but we had 1 problem with facing difficulty in getting coffee refills. The guy, I am sorry that I did not get his name, from room service who has to bring us the daily coffee refills was unpolite and mocked us and didn't want to give us the coffee every day which he must do especially for the price of the room, and he was bringing us capsules which we didn't like even tho we said we wanted a specific kind which they have. This guy was unpolite and annoying and because of this at the end we stopped asking for coffee and bought capsules from Lidl for €3.50 for a full box, shame on him! Additionally it is not right to only be given 1 bottle of water a day per room complimentary and when we asked for more they did not give us any. This should not happen in a 5 star hotel especially in an area of a country where the tap water is not safe to drink. Instead we had to buy water from the bar for a hefty price for a small bottle and that's why we went to Lidl in the end. Otherwise the hotel is very nice but they have some problems.

This hotel is huge and very very busy . Lots of children but there is an adults only pool . 2 cans cola 10 euro. Bowl of gazpacho 20 euro. Don't park your car with the valet as nearly impossible to get it back. Their policy is to warmly greet their guests but after that poor service . Our shower flooded right out into the bedroom and into the corridor and they cleaned it up but the next day the same thing happened . We also had ants in the bed but they did not change the sheets. No smoking in common areas and men have to wear long trousers at night so we ate out every night instead. This hotel is 4 star that is very very busy and not enough staff . Breakfast buffet is typical for catering for the masses with carton juices but again they had a separate restaurant for adults only . At 450 euro per night it was a total disappointment to be in a small and very dark room. No apology for the flooded bathroom or the ants or having to wait 20 mins for a bell boy to appear to get us our car back . They really do not care and could not cope with such large numbers .
