Had a wonderful, in-depth experience at this Japanese hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and the Japanese dinner was exquisite.

Very good service, all the staff are very nice and caring.

Nice place with great staff. The whole hotel is peaceful ground covered with tatami. We reserved the private onsen and was satisfied with the amenities. Bfast was a set meal with refillable sides and rice. Located not too far from beppu station, its just a straight walk all the way.

Clean, very good service, breakfast with limited food choices, staff are polite and attend to details. The lady greeter took every effort to get a good picture for you in front of the hotel.

Hana Beppu Stay is clean, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. The rooms are modern with a cozy touch, and the onsen is a perfect bonus. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient yet peaceful. A great place to stay—I’d definitely return!

Loved this hotel! Just a short walk from the station, with amazing facilities, free drinks (alcoholic drinks too!), and super friendly service. Totally recommend it — no second thoughts!

10 minute walk from Beppu station but it’s uphill, so you may want to catch a taxi or bus. The lively “downtown” area is just on opposite side of the station. Hotel is very beautiful. Front staff were all wonderful, one lady made a great dinner place suggestion after learning we couldn’t book in-house dinner. Room is spacious and restroom is in decent size. Beds and futon are comfy. Free snacks daily but try to get there earlier in the afternoon. Free lounge service and playroom for kids. Onsen is nice and you can pay extra for the private one. No washer/dryer on site though. One other thing is I felt the sofa may need periodic steam cleaning as I felt itchy when I sat on it. Overall, exceptional service. Highly recommend booking with dinner/breakfast as they are limited quantity.

A fantastic hotel, roughly a 10-minute walk from the station. The onsen is very spacious, and the rooms are also new. Highly recommended. The lady who served us was very kind and gentle, and her English was excellent.

Our stay at Hana was Amazing! Lovely spacious room and great amenities! The onsen is beautiful and the staff so friendly and helpful. I can recommend this hotel with great confidence!

Great experience. First stay in the hotel where our door shoes can not be worn. Liked the room, comfortable bed. English via translators only though. Indoor and outdoor hot springs. Private parking, attentive staff.

Perfect service, beautiful and large rooms, and in- plus outdoor onsen.

Ryokan staff was super attentive and promptly responds to our needs. We enjoyed the onsen and the wholesome and tasty breakfast they have prepared for us. The stay was so enjoyable and we will definitely stay here again if we are back in Beppu.
