This place is GREAT. The photos don’t do it just I’ve. Our private cabin with hot onsen was tremendous. Only issue is: in heat of summer, a tough hill to walk up.  Also, gos and ChatGPT were useless in locating it.  Some simple written directions from the Kannawa bus stop would work 

The hotel is very good, room is clean and tidy, individual onsen is excellent. The only point is the location will be a little bit far for travellers without cars, as hotel is on a hill slope, you will need to spend some efforts to go up, but the hotel quality worths this effort.

This is my second time staying at Kannawa Onsen Hotel. Both rooms have their own hot spring and one night and two meals. However, the hot spring water this time is not too hot🤔 There are several hot spring baths on the top floor of the hotel that can be used for free. The surprise is that the self-service beer and coffee lounge area on the second floor has been renovated. The place is very comfortable. After soaking in the hot spring, it is very comfortable to rest here and drink a beer while looking at the cherry blossoms outside.

The room is nice and big. The semi-open-air private hot spring in the room is big and comfortable. There is an open-air hot spring on the top floor of the hotel. There is a 24-hour private bath available without reservation. We booked a one-night stay with breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and rich. The staff was very polite and welcoming.

Facilities: Very good, especially the hot springs. There are open-air hot springs in the room and on the rooftop of the hotel. However, the open-air bathroom in the room is a bit cold for girls to wash their hair. It would be better if there was a separate shower room in the room. Sanitation: Very clean Environment: The scenery is particularly good, especially the hot springs on the rooftop Service: Very good, dinner and breakfast are also very rich

The waiter was very polite and explained clearly during check-in that there is a 24-hour private bath available without reservation. The room was large and comfortable, and the wagyu dinner was delicious!

It is more convenient to drive to the hot spring hotel halfway up the mountain. We booked an independent Japanese-style room with its own indoor hot spring, a small stand-alone building with good privacy. It is very quiet here at night. You can go to the family hot spring on the third floor of the main building and enjoy the pleasure of private hot spring while watching the night view. After soaking, you can go to the public lounge area on the second floor to drink beer and read books.

Bugs were found in the room, and the annex building is far from the main building, which is inconvenient.

The separate accommodation is cozy and both the public and guest room baths are excellent. I had a great time with the incredible cost-effectiveness.

The location is a bit hard to find. The private bath is suitable for us. The dinner is very rich and tastes average.

酒店就在血池溫泉附近，在一個山坡上開車去時曾經走過另一個路口位置比較隱蔽，到酒店後店主詳細講解晚餐時間及早餐時間並帶領我們去我們的房間，房間內有獨立溫泉還有一間榻榻米是和式設計，晚餐非常豐富，亦有令人難忘的和牛shabu shabu ，非常值得我們再次光顧
