Iyashi no Yado Iroha

Stayed with my family (mom + two kids), a total of three of us. We booked a slightly more expensive room than the cheapest one (a Japanese-Western mixed room, I think?). If you have kids, this room is great! The beds are lower than in other rooms, and the room itself is bigger. I noted the children's ages when I booked, and they even had shoes and outfits prepared accordingly, which was a nice touch!

There are over 10 detached houses nearby, very nice. Located in Kintsuwa area, within walking distance of Jigoku Onsen (except for the Blood Pond and Tornado Jigoku). There are restaurants nearby; I went and saw the 4.8 rating for yakiniku (grilled meat) on Google Maps. Affordable, delicious, and authentic 🥹🥹. Very convenient by car, but there are bus stops nearby; you can take bus number 41 to the safari. I recommend taking the first bus in the morning; it takes half an hour to get to the zoo. Buy a jungle bus ticket. Close-up feeding of wild animals 🥹 is a fantastic experience; the whole thing lasts an hour and costs 1500 yen.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. I thought there were only duplexes, but I was assigned to a single-story room, which was nice. There was a large public bath, and it was great to use it with my son when there were no other people around. Best of all, they had unlimited draft beer? I was about to say goodbye, but I put the baby to sleep!!
