I booked this hotel for two nights in Beppu during my trip to Fukuoka. The environment is excellent, living up to its name as it's right by the sea. You can see the ocean from your room, and it's also conveniently located near Beppu Tower and Don Quijote. The hotel service was top-notch; the staff were all very welcoming and guided us through the check-in process. The highlight has to be the breakfast and dinner – they were incredibly rich, delicious, and generous in portion size. Highly recommended! Plus, the hotel's indoor and outdoor hot springs were a fantastic experience; it was almost like having the place to ourselves in the evening. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beppu in the future. 😊

The hot springs offer both indoor and outdoor options, and the open-air bath was especially relaxing. The dinner delivered to our room was incredibly generous, and breakfast, a set menu, was served in the restaurant, both prepared precisely at our reserved times. The service was thoughtful and utterly impeccable.

The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were some floating particles in the water of the public bath.

Lives up to its reputation, excellent service.

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean. The breakfast and dinner portions were too large; a bit less would have been better.

The environment was comfortable and the receptionist was very friendly.

Love this place since my first visit.

The room was wonderful the view, the cleanliness, the staff. Parking was free. They carried our bags to the room despite our insistence to carry it ourselves, the kaiseki course meal in room was wonderful. Onsen at the rooftop was great. All in all best ryokan/hotel we stayed in, in Kyushu. Will definitely be staying here should we be in beppu again.

The service is very good. The room is also beautiful but the sea view is so so. The breakfast is good. According to the other travel website, the most famous is the dinner. Their food is outstanding.

Staff are polite and friendly. Location is good and Will come again.

An excellent hotel.

Our stay was enjoyable, The location is very central and our room had a good view of the sea. The staff were very helpful and extremely well mannered. The breakfasts were traditional Japanese and were very good and filling. We didn't really need lunch after the breakfasts. The hotel is a little dated but is still a great place to stay so we recommend it.
