Room was small, but the bed was good. The usage of the services of the partner hotel Yula re e.g. onsen, pool, sauna and breakfast was awesome. Minor thing: the coffee was not good. Please change the machine. Morning drip coffee was good though.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient—just a 5-minute walk from Beppu Station, and very close to the seaside. Situated right on the busiest commercial street leading out from the station, finding great food and drinks is effortless! Traveling solo, I booked a room in the annex. The great thing about this hotel, though, is that guests can share the large communal bath, open-air pool, and soaking tubs on the rooftop of the main building. At around 400 RMB per night, the value for money is unbeatable. The room itself is quite cramped, typical of a standard Japanese hotel, with nothing particularly standout about it. All in all, if you stay here, you *must* check out the main building's large communal bath—it's totally worth the price of admission! Next time I visit with friends, I'll definitely stay in the main building for a much more spacious and comfortable room!

Hygiene: Extremely clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors in the bathroom. Environment: Very close to JR Beppu Station, just a one-minute walk via a small path. It's also not far from the beach, about a 7-minute walk. Service: Smiling service, and the tempura at breakfast offered a good variety and tasted delicious. Facilities: Shared rooftop baths and a pool with the main building next door, as well as the breakfast area on the first floor. The room itself is a bit small, and the bathroom door frame is very easy to trip over.

Really enjoyed the different amenities. Especially the onsen and the swimming pool! The location was good too, it was quiet but only a 5 min walk to the train station.

The hotel is very close to Beppu Station and has good facilities. The hot spring bath is in a separate building, but the environment is nice. You need to bring your room towels, and the hotel provides a basket for guests to carry them.

Had a great check-in experience today. The front desk staff were very friendly. It's also close to the station. While there aren't many attractions nearby, it's still a good area to explore. I'd definitely stay here again next time. Thanks everyone for sharing!

This hotel is a great option for its affordable price. The large public bath is open until midnight, allowing plenty of time to relax and unwind. While it's a bit of a walk to the main building, I'm still satisfied.

This has always been my go-to hotel whenever I visit Beppu, mainly for its pool and hot springs. Despite occasional noise from the floor above, I've generally had good experiences until this last visit, which was truly awful. The bedding was incredibly dirty, and the smell of stale cigarettes combined with mold from the air conditioning gave me a terrible headache. The staff were exceptionally rude. When I complained about the dirty sheets, I was told that the bedding was old and bound to be dirty, and if I wasn't satisfied, I should just go to a more expensive hotel. When I asked to speak to a manager, a very young 'senior' staff member showed up instead. Eventually, I had to run the bathroom fan 24/7 and get the bedding replaced. What's even more ridiculous is that on the first night, they told me all their sheets had stains and I should just sleep on them. So, I ended up sleeping in my clothes. Only the next day did they bring me clean white sheets. Why lie about not having clean sheets in the first place? A staff member even admitted it seemed like they hadn't washed the original sheets. Due to a storm, I extended my stay. I informed the front desk in advance, but they failed to communicate it internally, leading to two days of chaos with staff constantly telling me to check out or move rooms. They stated that housekeeping would clean every other day for a week. However, for the first four days, no cleaning was done. After I extended my stay, they claimed they would only clean once before my check-out date. When I requested more, they cited hotel policy. Eventually, I had to show them on a calendar to prove their error, which they then conceded. Can't they even do basic math? In the end, I only got two cleanings during my week-long stay. Don't even get me started on the dirty sofa. At the very least, I hope they prepare clean, washed bedding for their guests.
