We were a group of 12 scuba divers. All of us thought that Beqa Lagoon Resort was incredible! The rooms, gardens, facilities and food were all amazing. In particular, the staff were just beautiful with their Fijian smiles and desire to help wherever they could. The diving facilities were second to none and our dive crew were absolutely FANTASTIC!

Our trip to Beqa Lagoon resort was nothing short of wonderful. We went as part of a group trip with our scuba dive club. The resort is beautiful. The scuba diving is spectacular. Diving with real sharks and all the other wildlife is amazing. The staff are basically two main groups. The resort staff and the dive staff. (Please leave tips separately for both) The resort: we stayed in a 2 bedroom dwelling. There are different size accommodations, depending on the number of people in your personal group. This was all arranged for us, as we had 3 people in our group. The staff are highly organized, extremely friendly and very helpful. This is genuine too. (Not once did I feel that the friendliness was anything but genuine) The food is amazing. You have three sit down meals a day. When you show up at breakfast, you will write down what you want from the daily options provided (meat, fish veg). I did not have a bad meal. All the dishes provided were exceptional. (My son, who has never even tried fish, loved it and ate fish every day). The entertainment provided each day is wonderful, showing Fijian culture and music. The staff are more than willing to share their experiences and stories with you. (Special shout out to Ty and Jay here, they made it fun and I learned so much). The dive staff are phenomenal. Professional and super friendly. They basically did everything for us. (Shout outs to Jerry and Livai here. They were amazing help and so, so friendly) The diving is world class. The tour of the village next door was so nice. Learning about the local people, culture and way of life. Every single person was warmly greeting us and made us feel welcome. The local villagers make crafts for you to purchase. Please do, it helps them out greatly. (Side note: the local medical facility in the village is staffed by an RN. Super sweet lady. If you can, please bring (or leave your) medical supplies for her. Any medical supplies are greatly welcome. It would be greatly appreciated) The hike to the water fall is worth it. Bring sturdy shoes and use the offered walking stick. It really is a jungle trail you will be navigating, slippery and requires a decent degree of nimbleness and agility. (If mobility challenged, not advised). The Kava ceremony is performed and offered for everyone to try. It tasted “earthy” and proved a slight numbness of the tongue. This is normal and you are good Definitely join in and learn about this important cultural tradition. There is not a paved road on the island, and not a single motorized vehicle with wheels. Boats and feet are the modes of transportation. This part I loved. Made things simple. Communication: the hotel offers WiFi for a daily fee. Get it!! Well worth it. The (eSIM) cell plans offered on the mainland are sluggish. Wi-Fi that’s offered is so much faster. I wish I could give a shout out to more staff, but other than those mentioned, as I spend a bunch of time with them, everyone was amazing!!

This is one of the best resorts I have ever been too. Arrival.. service.. diving.. FOOD (so so good)... activities ... comfort... cleanliness.. all VERY VERY GOOD!!! FILO and her staff are amazing. Spa is EXCELLENT and very well priced. Hence the well priced options it was very busy!! Repea gives an amazing massage! I love that all the products are available in the boutique too! The activities are well planned and great options. JAY on the activities team is very personable and fun! Diving was incredible BRANDON has a great team but if you get a chance request NAVI OR JUNIOR as your guide!! Captian P is great too!! The shark dive at cathedral was out of this world. Apex was great too. The entire dive staff was extremely responsive and accommodating and VERY safety conscious!! School and village tour were great. Waterfall hike was beautiful but wear bug spray... you are in the jungle heat and humidity. I liked that there was plenty do do without having to pay for additional activities but also the paid options were great and very reasonable. House reef is great! Love that they are doing coral restoration!!! Dont miss the firedancers show!! Do not miss going here!!!

I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Beqa resort! From the moment I arrive, I just felt so much joy. The island itself is stunning, the rooms are beautiful, and the staff are truly exceptional, so warm and welcoming from start to finish. I genuinely don’t have a single complaint, which says a lot. As a solo traveller, the staff were super friendly that I felt like I was visiting family, so never gave that social aspect that made my trip extra special. There were heaps of groups and families there too, which doesn't surprise me because theres so much to do, so anyone can visit. The resort offers free experiences each day, which is not something I found elsewhere in Fiji. I joined the village visit, and it was incredibly special, the kindergarten children sung to us and we got to meet some local women selling handmade jewellery and crafts made it feel so authentic. Also interesting to see the village housing. I missed out on the school visit, but I heard that was great too. I'm a diver, so I also did 2 days of diving. The reefs are so pretty, really healthy and untouched. HEAPS of fish, variety is crazy. The shark dive, in particular, was absolutely mind-blowing. Highly recommend for divers... a bucket-list experience that I still can’t stop talking about. Dive crew are awesome and have eyes everywhere so never felt unsafe. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly (so good as I went in probably the most humid time of year), beds were great too. What really made the stay, though, was the staff. They make you feel like family, and after just 3nights, it genuinely felt like I was leaving a second home behind :( I can’t wait to come back!!!

This was a very nice place to stay when you're talking about a tropical island. The resort is a small boat ride away and it's literally right on the water when you get there. The rooms are nice and spacious, a private pool is with most and the food was good. The spa is outside so the breeze and rain give it an extra relaxing sound. The scuba diving was good but since it's a lagoon, a lot of the coral has suffered due to the poor mix of the water. I would love to return and stay here again. The staff were great and very welcoming.

Came here for a snorkeling trip. Left with so much more. Spent 4 nights here with a group of 15. Without a doubt had a great experience snorkeling. However, this resort is so welcoming. Everyone is so friendly and wishes you "Bula" everytime they meet you. We loved our accommodation with its plunge pool and outdoor shower. Enjoyed the food and the final Fiji food dinner. Loved Jay's humor (medicine tour, firewalking, etc.) Would love to return..

The resort came highly recommended by our good friends at Bio Bio Expeditions but we booked this trip as a standalone dive vacation. We had an incredibly beautiful and relaxing week at the resort, the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly, and the oceanfront burres, the resort grounds, and facilities were exceptional! Dive and boat captain staff were top notch, it was really nice to have small, relaxed groups underwater. We know the resort is often booked to capacity but the dive boats felt just a bit crowded and it was taxing to get organized on rough weather days. All good though, the incredible diving was worth it! Our only issue was having so many additional expenses + 4% fees to pay for on a credit card at the end of our stay. TIPS: *Bring cash for the tip box and for additional expenses if possible (we spent approx $3000 FJD for extra diving, a few massages, coffee and wine/cocktails at dinner and tips) *Book ahead for the shark diving if possible and definitely do both the Apex and the Cathedral sites! The experience is UNFORGETTABLE!! *Best visibility is the winter season but be prepared for cooler conditions. Definitely bring a few warm items of clothing for topside. *Bring a small save-a-dive kit specific to your personal equipment *Bring assorted tea, coffee, and electrolyte mix packets if you want variety *Prepare to be overwhelmed by the genuine warmth and friendliness of the Fijian people!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beqa Lagoon Resort. From the airport pickup and seamless organisation throughout our stay, everything was handled exceptionally well. There were plenty of activities available for both non-divers and for relaxing after a day of diving, so there was always something to enjoy. Every member of staff was outstanding—from housekeeping and the boat crew to the restaurant and administration teams. Everyone was warm, friendly, helpful and genuinely made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, with an excellent variety of choices and truly top-notch catering. The diving was beautiful, and the main reason for our visit—the tiger shark diving—was an incredible and unforgettable experience. We stayed in a private oceanfront bure, which was stunning and made our stay even more special. We honestly couldn’t fault anything. We would most definitely recommend Beqa Lagoon Resort and would absolutely love to return!
