Palazzo Porta Picta

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Porta Picta. The location is perfect for exploring Bergamo Città Alta, the room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. Barbara and the whole team were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We were especially touched by the complimentary breakfast and by the care they showed when they found and kept our forgotten headphones. This level of hospitality is truly exceptional. We highly recommend Palazzo Porta Picta to anyone visiting Bergamo and hope to return one day. Thank you for everything!

We recently stayed at this beautiful luxury B&B and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredible, right in the heart of Città Alta, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. Our room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and had everything we could have needed. There was also a fantastic array of toiletries provided, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delightful and the perfect way to start each day. Our host was absolutely incredible — so welcoming, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was okay and were always happy to offer advice or assistance. We would definitely highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bergamo and especially if you want to be based in Città Alta. We would happily stay here again! ❤️

The property boasts an enviable, central location, making it ideal for exploring the wonders of Bergamo Alta on foot. A rare and highly appreciated bonus for this area is the easy car access, made completely stress-free by their convenient private garage. The suite itself is an absolute gem. It offers a breathtaking dual view: a spectacular panorama of Bergamo on one side, and a charming outlook onto Piazza Mercato on the other. The furnishings are of the highest quality, selected with rare refinement and taste. The warm color palette creates an ambiance that is incredibly cozy, intimate, and luxurious all at once. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay defined by class, comfort, and relaxation.

This is truly a first class place, like staying in a stately villa. Very spacious rooms, nice breakfast. Beautiful huge living area for all to enjoy; coffee, tea and fruit available all day in the breakfast room. Kris, the lovely young woman who prepares breakfast and services the rooms, is an absolute delight!

The experience was wonderful on all accounts. The breakfast was great. The personnel was professional and caring. We highly recommend.
