This place is right in the heart of Bergamo. I only wish I had 3 or 4 days to stay here to enjoy the ambience of being so close to everything. The room was European style and was plenty big enough for the 2 of us. Clean and great view of the alleys below. It's true there is no "formal" breakfast but there were some packaged croissants and coffee available. It is a con that Giovanna is not on sight as it could be a bit easier if she was readily available to communicate in person as is the case for every other B&B we have ever stayed in. That said however would not deter me from staying here again if in Bergamo which is really a must see place.

Wow, what a fantastic find B&B Lorenzo is. The best location being in the heart of Bergamo. Through the big doors takes you into the private courtyard up to the apartments. Our room was so adorable, beautifully presented, clean, bedding and towels excellent, everything you need is there. The little touches do make a big difference. Close by are good restaurants, shops and a few minutes from the funiculars taking both directions. From the booking and whilst there Giovanna updated us on all the local info, the communications are excellent. I would certainly recommend staying here, and will hopefully return. Thank you Giovanna, a great impression of Bergamo and the love for your rooms. 🇬🇧🇮🇹

Very comfortable B & B in the heart of the Citta Alta. Room lovely, spacious and comfortable. Giovanna, the host, was very friendly and extremely helpful. We were given vouchers for breakfast at a cafe just around the corner in the Piazza Vecchia. Very pleasant sitting there with our coffee and brioche for breakfast. Plenty of nearby restaurants all with excellent food (La Columbina and Da Franco’s we especially recommend). We will definitely be staying again.

Read all the positive reviews so stayed here one night. The room is very basic yet $164 USD Without Breakfast. The most Uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced...Overused Soft mattress that had us sliding into the middle. It does not feel like a B&B...just a couple of rooms that were perhaps a former apartment. So feels like a college dorm. No comfortable area to sit and relax, no person on site...but you are Very Monitered by cameras. Although Giovanna has a pleasant manner, I did not appreciate her asking if I entered the room again after check out...I would not do that and I did not even have the key! Which she knew. This is overpriced for what it is and not a comfortable welcoming experience. I have stayed at the Excelsior before and I can happily recommend that hotel instead!

Adorable B&B in the most ideal location in Citta Alta Bergamo. Easy to get to by taxi from the train station. Giovanna is a very pleasant and helpful host! The rooms are large, clean and well decorated with the "love" theme. Once the entry door from the street closes you enter a quiet medieval environment with the tower view fromt he courtyard. I would say here again!

Fabulous stay at the absolute heart of Citta Alta in Bergamo. Giovanna is a very pleasant and helpful host we would love to stay here again! Cosy, clean and well decorated rooms :) Hope to be back here in the future!

We had a lovely weekend here,the room we had was great and it is Situated right in the heart of the old town with loads of restaurants and sites to visit. We will definitely be back here again in the near future when we visit bergamo again and cannot recommend it enough.

Stayed for 2 nights - this was a fantastic find. Quiet, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The situation is fantastic- right in the heart of the city Alta. Perfect for a short stay. Loved the experience of staying in a residential area. Giovanna the host could not have been more friendly and helpful. A big thumbs up. Don’t hesitate to book if you are planning a stay.
