The location is perfect for visiting the Old Bergamo town. A parking option is available (booking and extra payment) but not advisable as the house where the rooms are located is in a ZTL (limited traffic zone) hence you can't get there by car. The customer service is terrible, called them as per their check-in process, I should have received a locker code to enter the room, code that never arrived. Even if it was past check-in time, I couldn't get the code on the phone and the operator kept saying they've sent it by email. Of course, I checked spam and inbox, verified with them the email address, nothing received and, instead of telling me the code I needed to enter the room, they kept trying to send me new emails (which I then received days after). When arrived, I didn't have the room number (of course the operator didn't tell me that useless information), the so-called reception entrance is from a balcony with the shut half closed, the employees won't even ask if help is needed. The state of the room is not at all as the one on the photos, the garden outside is wild, the furniture is quite basic and the TV wasn't even working. Thank god the AirCon was working. Not worth the price and the hassles

I usually leave positive reviews and am not overly critical, but I hate being taken for a fool. Before my stay, I sent multiple emails requesting the access link to my room—no response. Even on the day of arrival, after following up again, I was told I’d receive it, but it never came. When I mentioned this in my *********** review, the hosts replied: “ we are sad to read your comment because you never wrote any email to us. You only messaged us on Booking.” This is completely false (see screenshot). In the screenshots, you’ll find my Booking review, their dishonest response, and proof from my emails showing that I did contact them. On top of that, I had to stop dangerously in the street due to missing access codes, and my parking questions were ignored. When I finally got the link, I had to enter my credit card details for parking—never explained beforehand. If you expect clear communication and honest service, be careful with this place.

A beautiful room, we arrived tired and cold, we found the room beautiful, warm, scented, welcoming, magnificent. Unfortunately I was there for surgery but I would have gladly stayed for holidays. The only flaw is that it is poorly lit outside, otherwise everything is beautiful

Great place to reach the upper city on foot or by funicular. We had a great time, both with the check-in method and with the room: clean, spacious and modern. The rooms were cleaned every day and the customer service was excellent too!

I had booked with the Agoda platform because, having called the alleged receptionist (I think it was the owner or the owner's daughter), she had asked me 135 euros for what was offered on the platform at 88 euros. I pointed it out to him, saying that usually the price obtained with a direct contact is lower because there is no platform commission and, in a knowing tone, he replied that this is not always the case, well. ... That evening I had booked an excellent restaurant in upper Bergamo (the Circolino) for 7.15pm to then go to a concert at 9pm and, having arrived by motorbike at 6.30pm in the brutal heat, I found no indication of the structure and everything was boarded up ...after several useless phone calls, the "receptionist" finally answers and tells me that since Agoda would not have provided her with either my email or my cell phone, she had not been able to send me either the check-in form or ' the link to pay the 2 euros per person tourist tax. Incredulous and angry because I had two reservations to respect, I asked you to send them to me. She can't do it, she's fantastic!...so she gives me her cell phone asking me to send her a watsapp! I do it and finally I receive the form and link. In the meantime I reached the restaurant and, instead of being able to enjoy my dinner, with the hot dish waiting for me, I had to fill out a form which I don't think is even necessary to expatriate in the USA (just to mention one: photo of the CI on the front, then photo of the back and then me holding the CI, ditto for my partner, to the hilarity of the other guests...). The moment arrived to pay the 2 euros/pers for the tourist tax without paying which he CATEGORICALLY told me that he would not send me the three codes to access the structure... Meanwhile my plate was getting cold and the concert was approaching. Obviously after 4 mysteriously failed attempts (in my opinion due to their problem) with each of my two credit cards I asked her if I could leave the 4 euros in cash in the room, answer: NO. At that point, "to help me" she asked me for ALL the card details that she would have provided: I couldn't help but trust... It's a structure managed with rigidity and inefficiency associated with an access procedure that To define them as Byzantine is an understatement, they are truly incredible. It ruined my dinner with my partner and my mood, moreover by blaming Agoda (which would have prevented her from contacting me earlier for the above) and when I contacted her directly offering me a price 40% higher than the platform. NEVER AGAIN AND ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED DUE TO TEUTONIC OBSESSIVITY AND RIGIDITY.

Non è mia consuetudine scrivere recensioni negative, ma credetemi, questa struttura la merita tutta………………. Per recensire una struttura che ti ospita è necessario considerare diversi fattori: solitamente, indubbiamente al primo posto la serietà degli interlocutori (ritengo debba essere il requisito principale) e la coerenza di ciò che ti viene proposto e documentato nel sito in cui viene dettagliato l’alloggio. Ritengo sia necessario inoltre, tenere in considerazione altri aspetti assolutamente determinanti che NON vengono assolutamente rispettati in questa location e che desidero descrivervi: Arrivi alle 18.30 e dopo essere riuscito ad ottenere un fantomatico codice per accedere (una struttura gestita con una rigidità e una inefficienza associata ed una procedura di accesso che definirei assurda), entri, ti guardi intorno, e ti ritrovi in un girone Dantesco: • Riscaldamento spento. • Climatizzatore NON funzionante. (allego foto) • Televisore con un Decoder che si rifiuta di accendersi. (allego foto) • Armadio inesistente, sostituito da un espositore a vista da negozio con 3 (Tre) stampelle di numero. (allego foto) • Frigorifero spento e drammaticamente vuoto. (allego foto) • Porta di ingresso impossibile da chiudere, con relativi spifferi d’aria. (allego foto) • Tapparella rotta. (Per puntualizzare a distanza di quasi una settimana non ho ancora ricevuto nessuna chiamata). A questo punto realizzo che mi stanno costringendo ad accettare obtorto collo quello che ho a disposizione, anche se non c’è NULLA di quello per cui ho pagato in anticipo con dei presupposti totalmente diversi. Da denuncia!!!! A MAI PIU' RIVEDERCI, ASSOLUTAMENTE SCONSIGLIATO PER LA TOTALE INCOMPETENZA, DISORGANIZZAZIONE ED INCAPACITA’ A GESTIRE LA PROPRIA ATTIVITA’.
