"We stayed at Central Hostel BG as a family of three adults and two children, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very central and convenient for walking to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made travelling with kids much easier. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a family stay. The beds were comfortable, and the hostel was generally quiet at night, allowing everyone to rest well. The common areas were tidy and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially when we needed assistance with directions and local information. We felt welcomed throughout our stay. For families looking for affordable accommodation in a central location, Central Hostel BG is a good option. We would recommend it to families who value location, cleanliness, and friendly service."

"The hotel is located about ten minutes' walk from the train station. The room is large and has kitchen facilities, so you can cook your own meals. There is a large supermarket next to the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping. The hygiene and convenience are not ideal. They only clean it every two days. . The service attitude of the staff is not too positive. Nonetheless, I will consider it next time."

"The hotel is located a little away from the center, so I recommend it to travelers who are already familiar with the city. On the other hand, it is not so far that you can’t walk from the center. I always buy a 24-hour bus ticket, but this time I had to walk late in the evening, because it was Sunday (but I recommend everyone to take this ticket in any case, it pays for itself in 3 trips). The owner is very nice, the house is very cozy, furnished with great taste. There is something from the Venetian palazzo in the design of the room (which is logical, because Bergamo was never subordinate to the Duke of Milan, but was a vassal of Venice). The windows overlook a beautiful garden with olive trees. A small drawback is the noise from the road, in warm weather with open windows you can hear passing cars. The road to the airport by public transport, with all possible Italian violations of the schedule, took me about an hour"

"A very beautiful hotel located in the center of the Old, Upper Town. Cafés, restaurants, and shops are all around. The manager's support via WhatsApp is very helpful. The guidebook, which is also sent, contains lots of useful tips; for example, we learned that the airport can be reached by bus. The breakfasts are excellent, and complimentary candies are always available in the lounge. Drinking water is also always available. The room is full of pleasant, comfortable, and practical touches. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place!"

"I find this difficult to review because actually the hotel is great, reception staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Our room had everything we needed, 2 single beds, a safe, tv, kettle, great overhead shower with nice toiletries etc. The problem is that the surrounding area is still under construction so there just wasn’t that much nearby as it was slightly out of town. There are 2 tram stops nearby and the service was regular and reliable to the centre which only took 5 mins. To travel further afield we used uber however they were expensive compared to what we had just paid in Portugal where we had spent the previous 3 days. At present I’d say this hotel is better for business or those visiting the arena at present but once the surrounding area has finished development I am sure that will change."

"Wow, what a fantastic find B&B Lorenzo is. The best location being in the heart of Bergamo. Through the big doors takes you into the private courtyard up to the apartments. Our room was so adorable, beautifully presented, clean, bedding and towels excellent, everything you need is there. The little touches do make a big difference. Close by are good restaurants, shops and a few minutes from the funiculars taking both directions. From the booking and whilst there Giovanna updated us on all the local info, the communications are excellent. I would certainly recommend staying here, and will hopefully return. Thank you Giovanna, a great impression of Bergamo and the love for your rooms. 🇬🇧🇮🇹"
