Citybox Bergen City

About an 8-minute walk from Bergen Station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the Bryggen area, this hotel boasts a great location. As it's a self-check-in hotel, the price point is very reasonable, making it perfectly adequate if you just need a place to sleep. It's clean, and even though it's self-check-in, you still see hotel staff around. I used the porter service for a fjord tour, and my luggage was properly stored in the baggage room.

The room was tiny, probably the smallest I've ever stayed in, and there were no hotel services; they didn't even clean the room for us. The location was decent, and there were plenty of rooms, but they were genuinely small.

Great location, with a supermarket just across the street. Having stayed at City Box in both Oslo and Bergen, I'd definitely recommend the Bergen one more. The rooms are more spacious there, and you can easily open two 29-inch suitcases.

The accommodation was clean, and having a supermarket right on the first floor was very convenient. If I travel to Bergen again, this is definitely a place I'd want to stay at!

Self-check-in was convenient, and there was also a front desk available for any assistance or inquiries. We could also store our luggage for free after check-out. The room was spacious. Highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is a little bit away from the station, but not too far. Check-in and check-out are generally self-service. In my case, I couldn't check in using the machine due to a malfunction, but the staff assisted me. The facilities themselves are a bit older, but they are clean. It stated that a hairdryer was provided, but there wasn't one. There's no TV in the room, but you can watch it in the lobby on the first floor.
