Really comfortable and affordable overnight stay in Bergerac. Great experience all round from easy checkin, a little help from the friendly bar owner with our poor understanding of French and comfortable room. We were travelling by motorcycle and were able to tuck the bike safely to the side of the hotel entrance. There’s a spacious safe public car park opposite if travelling by car. A bit of a walk to the riverside from the hotel but defiantly worth the effort to see.

Couldn’t have picked a better hotel to stay in for a few days, Mica was amazing! Even though we did speak a little French, he helped us feel at home with his little (enough) english, we had a great laugh with himself and his chef, she was lovely too! Her food was AMAZING! The steaks we had on our first night were out of this world! I don’t usually like carbonara, we had this as our last meal there and it was demolished! The hotel was lovely and the beds very comfy! Was a lovely touch being able to see the Notre Dame from our window! Really made our stay special! Thank you Mica and your wonderful team!

Lovely French couple, excellent English, sense of humour, so helpful, arranged taxi to airport and much more.à Great food, good coffee, good value.. Room basic and clean. Thank you, memorable stay. Btw Staircase could do with light at the top.

If you look at my other reviews you may learn that the way I rate s place may be different than the norm. If the place is what I expect I give a 3 out of 5. This was better than my expectations thus the 4 This hotel is run by friendly, kind and hard-working people. We arrived in Bergerac without anywhere to stay and went to the bar across the road from the station. The bar-tender was busy but he found time to talk to us and found us a room for the night. The room was air-conditioned and clean, with a powerful shower. The bed had a fabulously comfortable mattress. Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced and, when we arrived late, after the meal service was finished, the bar-tender made us a good, honest baguette sandwich. It felt like these people really wanted to make their guests feel welcome, and meet their needs with kindness not just for business.

Mauvaises odeurs dans la chambre Lit contre la fenêtre (très pratique pour ouvrir), si on vous propose la chambre 7, refusez la de suite. 5 minutes à faire couler de l'eau pour avoir l'eau chaude (quel gâchis, une vraie honte), matelas pas terrible. A éviter

Lors d'un road trip avec ma femme pour voir la famille, j'ai passé une nuit à Bergerac avant de rentrer à la maison. Arrivés tard après un dîner en ville, la chambre était prête et le lit était confortable. L'eau chaude peine à venir dans le lavabo ou la douche mais honnêtement, nous avons passé une nuit de repos impeccable et le personnel est très sympathique. Le quartier ne paie pas de mine mais j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité des chambres et le rapport qualité/prix.

Super endroit super personnes très accueillante et surtout souriant ( malgré la crise ) à l’écoute on a passé un super week-end en amoureux je recommande vivement les chambres sont nickel les repas c’est une tuerie merci au boss ( Mika) et au reste de l’équipe. Sophie /Julien
