The building is in a quiet suburb of Berlin and is about 30 minutes travel from the centre. It is split into two - one half a hotel, the other half a hostel. I stayed in the hostel. The rooms are plain and simple, but clean and comfortable. There are no en-suite facilities in the hostel rooms, and you share with the entire floor. However, the facilities are clean and well maintained. There is a restaurant on site and a bar outside for drinks and Flammkuchen in the evening. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful - and their English is far better than my German! A very relaxing place to stay.

"Für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden. Besonders die Betten waren für uns sehr gut und bequem. In der Nacht und bei unserem ersten Besuch war es zwar etwas schwierig, die Rezeption und das Zimmer zu finden, aber das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, mit guter Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ausgezeichnet – die Kosten waren angemessen für die gebotenen Leistungen.

170 Euro für ein kleines Zimmer in einer Jugendherberge wo man noch 2 Euro extra beim Frühstück für Cappuccino etc. zahlen musste geht gar nicht!!

Der Service war gut. Allerdings möchte ich bemängeln, dass das Frühstück in keinem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis steht. 15€für kleine Aufbackbrötchen finde ich doch sehr übertrieben. Und das Bett war zu schmal.
