I travel around often and I sleep in hotels many nights a year, I had never experienced the situation that I had when I arrived at the Hilton Berlin. I had booked, and paid for a ‘Twin Room with Dome View’ about 4 months before the trip. Upon check-in, I was automatically assigned a room that was not twin nor Dome View (you can see the view in the pictures below); I went back to reception twice, to complain that this was not the room I had booked, the hotel staff was most unhelpful, they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager, nor did they provided any solution or any sort of compensation, their answer simply was that the hotel was booked up and that there was nothing they could do. This was wrong for different reasons, first they assigned me a room that only had one bed, secondly they didn’t provide any solution other than adding a little roller bed to the room, third they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager. I am very disappointed, these sort of experiences do not belong to a hotel chain like Hilton. This unfortunate incident tainted my stay at the hotel. I hope this review gets somehow to someone at Hilton and does something to avoid any further guests having a similar experience. Furthermore, the sauna facilities was apparently not part of the room rate (this was not mentioned whatsoever) and when I checked out I found that I had to pay for every single time I used the sauna.

No complementary water in the room. The lounge access was expensive, and did not have much in terms of choices of beverages and looked shabby. They are in the midst of renovating/relocating the lounge, based on some posters, so it may improve in the future? Did not allow earlier check in, though they allowed the luggage to be deposited until then. Breakfast spread was good, but no rotation, and same throughout the 4 mornings I stayed. Location is good, near museum island and shopping and historical landmarks.

Location is great, nice surrounding ambience. Cleanliness is expected to be better for Hilton brand, experienced bath tub choking and water flow issue at sink.

The Hilton Berlin offers a comfortable stay with a central location, but it’s not without flaws. The rooms feel dated, with an old-school vibe that could use a refresh. The air conditioning works well, a big plus in summer. However, the breakfast is underwhelmin overpriced and not worth trying; you’re better off exploring nearby cafes. Speaking of exploring, step outside and enjoy Berlin’s vibrant scene. The €40 daily parking fee feels steep for the city, and the €14 spa access should be included for the price. Overall, it’s decent but could improve with modern touches and better value.

Berlin centre location! Very nice staff! Easy to metro. Breakfast is super nice! I enjoy my stay. Will book again!

I didn't have aircon for the entire time I was there. The room was extremely hot and muggy. I complained multiple times but the best they could offer me was a ventilator - I have attached and image. When I asked to be moved room the manager on duty was rude and dismissive. I asked for compensation, this too was rejected. Would never recommend anyone stay there.

Excellent service! The staff were very caring and thoughtful! We paid for an upgrade and the view of the dome was amazing!

I recently stayed at the Berlin Hilton for a business trip, and I was very impressed! The hotel is conveniently located near Potsdamer Platz, making it easy to access both business venues and local attractions. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a great environment to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay. There was a minor hiccup when I checked out, as both the hotel and my travel agency charged the city tax. However, the customer service team from the travel agency was quick to resolve the issue, which I truly appreciated. Overall, my experience at the Berlin Hilton was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting for business or leisure. I look forward to staying here again!

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and central to many attractions. The front desk staff were friendly and I was able to check in early. The hotel is beautiful and my room looked just like the pictures.
