This small hotel is tucked in a corner of the market square in Beverly. Unique listed building very well maintained . Hotel offers 10 bedrooms of varying size Room we occupied was very large spacious and comfortable, bed was really comfortable and bedding , towels and bathroom were spotless A small menu of breakfasts is available if required . Full English breakfast was tasty and of generous portion size , quality produce and reasonable priced . 20% discount on all food for guests staying in house The property has a small car park at the rear for guests which was a huge bonus as the main market square is pay & display with a maximum stay of three hours Staff team were extremely friendly and helpful Excellent one night stay at a very reasonable rate Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. The room & bed were comfortable & our room was very large. The room was nice & warm despite the windows not shutting fully. The shower & bath were very good & the water was hot. We enjoyed our dinners & breakfasts, which were tasty & generous. We had free car parking in the hotel’s rear car park.

Firstly every member of staff was welcoming, pleasant and helpful! The outdoor seating was very good with two separate areas to choose from and plenty of indoor areas to choose to sit in too. I enjoyed the fish fingers on brioche with tartar sauce very much one lunchtime, choice of chips or salad to go with it. However when family joined me for a drink, the small teapot had no lid, the tea became cold very quickly but a staff member offered to replace it to make the second cup hot! Another negative was the lack of staff available for the amount of customers during the daytime, I don't know if evenings are the same. We waited about 20 minutes for our table to be cleared and wiped and queued a long time to get served. However, the staff who were there worked their socks off, it just needed at least one extra staff member! The room was large and well equipped with a lovely very big comfortable bed. However, the place is due for a refresh and I did miss not having a dressing table with mirror but there was an enormous mirror on one wall so I can't complain too much. One other thing is the steep staircase, as an older person I did not feel very secure using it. Contrary to what this may look like, I did enjoy my stay very much and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Really comfortable room with great access to the town. Friendly staff throughout. We only had breakfast as our visit was under sombre circumstances as we were attending a funeral. We were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble.

Didn't stay in a room, went for a meal and drinks, the roast beef was lovely, the drinks were nice but the ladies toilets were not nice!! No toilet rolls and the smell was horrific of urine after just eating here that really put me off. These were the main bar toilets, just don't think there is any need for it. Pls clean up the toilets!!!

£22.45 for two large glasses of wine! Cross keys £5.95 your choice!!! Better wine at the cheaper price! It is no wonder that the King's Head was empty. There was a quiz on a Monday but only about 5 small teams. The quiz was via tablet and time based with the quickest team winning. There was a prize with vouchers, I assume for the bar. Needed to offset the extortionate bar prices!

Excellent location for a visit to this lovely town. Stayed for 2 nights in a well equipped room. The staff are lovely and very helpful. On arrival we had parked at a nearby council run car park and asked if we could park there overnight. A staff member told us he would move his car from the small pub car park and let us have his space instead! We had an excellent evening meal there the 1st night and also enjoyed breakfast there both mornings. My only criticism would be that the bathroom was looking a little tired and needed a spruce up!

I much enjoyed my stay (for 3 nights) at the King's Head. I came mainly to visit the Minster, so the hotel was within easy reach. The hotel staff was exceptionally cordial, interested and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Stay here.
