How does someone go about getting a few Michelin stars? Because that’s exactly what should happen to the incredible chef, Mehmet, at Olympos Mountian Lodge. The food is off the charts amazing. Every morsel we ate there was incredible. Each night since we’ve left the Lodge, we still ask each other, “I wonder what Mehmet is serving tonight”. If I could hire a personal chef, it would be him. I highly recommend staying there, obviously for the food, but also for the peace and quiet in the nature and the proximity to good hiking and the Lycian Way.

Don’t hesitate for a second!!! This place is heaven on earth. Everything from the ambience to the service was spectacular. We arrived late at night and were greeted with hot brownies. The lodge is a surprise at the top of a mountain. Surrounded by the most exquisite nature. The room was rustic and elegant. We had a king size bed suite with a terrace. The room was big enough to dance in while drinking wine. The bedding was luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautifully manicured with paths and walkways lined by Mother Nature. There are small seating areas everywhere to sit and enjoy the gorgeous views. The restaurant offers magnificent views to enjoy while eating. Traditional and modern. Delicious!!!! We are well traveled, we’ve stayed at many top end resorts, this lodge offers all the comforts, aesthetics and service of a 5 star resort. It is secluded and quiet, perfect for the most romantic getaway. We have already pre-booked our next stay. Thank you Olympus mountain Lodge for the hospitality. See you soon!

Everything about this gorgeous little lodge exudes intention, care, and love. The food is exquisite - creatively crafted using local and fresh ingredients.. The four or six course dinner menu changes daily to keep things interesting. The wine was superb. The lodge itself is curated using beautiful natural materials and lots of plants. The owners and staff are absolutely delightful and made the experience top notch. They gave us the perfect recommendations for enjoying the local beaches and ruins that are only 20-30 minutes away. There is some beautiful hiking around the lodge on the Lycian Way if you want to get out in nature. We stayed three nights and felt genuinely sad to leave. I don’t think there is a place this special in all of Turkey.

This place is really special. They have put so much thought into the property and experience. Staff are super respectful and welcoming. It gives off a very Northern California meets Turkey vibe. The food is excellent and they take a lot of pride in preparing it. The cocktails are really unique and well designed. Amazing to stay in the mountains in the evening where it's cooler and to go to the beach during the day. Located directly on the Lycian way. We will definitely be back!

Olympos Mountain Lodge is a must! Set just above Cirali and Olympos beaches, it is a a sweet, airy escape from the heat of the beaches. The chef and owner is as elegant as he is welcoming, and creates not one but 5-course meals for dinner and a breakfast that is as refined as it is gourmet! Everything from the butter to the bread is a culinary experience! The food, the service and the laid-back vibe was heaven!

Spent four days at beginning of June with my daughter and fiancé. Was eerily like western Sonoma County California in the late 1960s, except far more beautiful. 8300 ft Mt Olympos looms in the background, with beautiful misty views of the sea. And it is high enough about the ocean to be cool in warm, uncomfortable weather. The lodge itself was intimate, quiet and luxurious, with lots of wood. The rooms are large and comfortable. The food was an unexpected joy, delicious with lots of local ingredients lovingly prepared. The staff was sweet and responsive to our every need. This is a very special place, and an incredible travel value. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two days during our honeymoon trip. I cannot say enough how happy we were with our experience A-Z. Chef Mehmet Ali, Başak and Su prepared delicious meals which are beyond and above our expectations (you get really nice food in such restaurants and/or hotels but this was different). We tried their own production "Smoked Butter". I love butter and have never tasted something interesting in my life. Breakfast was a great start to the day. Beautiful garden, beautiful sunrise and sunset. There is even a dinosaur fossil in the garden! Ahmet and Murat were very polite and warm. It is a great location for switch off and recharge. We most certainly will come back. Thank you very much Olympos Mountain Lodge Team!

The hotel doesn’t fulfil any legal regulations for Covid measures, silence hours, non smoking common space for the hospitality sector. It also doesn’t deliver the promised services such as à la carte menu options, access to waterfalls... I got sick during our stay. We chose this place based on the positive reviews, although it was more expensive than all the other offers we had from five star hotels in Turkey. At the end we experienced chaos and disease at a place where we paid ~260 Euro per day for a half pension stay. First of all, their guests (or) friends were very loud and regularly smoked in the dining & sleeping area. Parties until 3 a.m. night together with the owner. Incredible!!! During my booking, I have underlined my expectation for Covid measures and silent, nature holiday. We found out only upon our arrival, that there are actually no Covid measures in this place. Our food was prepared and served without any masks, gloves; no disinfection of tables at the dining area. The other guests from Ankara, Istanbul seemed to be unaware about the covid pandemie. When we warned the hotel owners they simply didn’t care and carried on with their attitude. They lacked empathy for the disturbance they cause and respect for our rights to protect our health. The dinner is extremely expensive for the quality delivered. There is no à la carte option at all, you can only buy a very small tasting menu and you will only learn what you ordered when it arrives at your table. Strange but true. It costs 40-45 Eur per person without drinks. This is a price for the Michelin restaurant category, but the food quality is below bistro level. For instance, an espresso costs 4 euro here, but it is prepared by cheap Metro Rioba coffee capsules! Some of the dishes were a poor copy of European recipes with partly imported goods. Like a dry gnocchi with Croatian cheese! Italian chefs would have smoke coming out of their ears if they saw it. It is not sustainable either, why would you import cheese while you live in a turkish village full of goats? A piece of lamb meat cooked with vanilla is promoted as zero waste here. Not only did it have a weird taste but also vanilla doesn’t grow in Turkey (there are only a few trials in artificial greenhouses with high cost on environment). They don't seem to care about the carbon footprint of importing the vanilla, or packaging of the vanilla, or its impact on the farming communities in the source countries. It seemed to us that they are only doing green washing, not very honest with their promotion of sustainability. If you order anything extra, there is no price list. Any price they wish, will be added to your end bill for checkout, beware! They told us that they have a private boat for their guests and we bought a daily boat trip. We found out that they have bought it from another provider in Karaöz, to sell us for a more expensive price!! For this trip, we had to drive 1 hour to Karaöz on our own, through steep and na

Müthiş bir doğa, doğaya uyumlu özenle yaratılmış sıcacık huzur verici bir ortam, ruhu besleyen yaratıcı lezzetler, muhtesem kokteyler, sakin, zevkli, keyifli ev sahipleri... cok güzel bir deneyimdi... Tekrar tekrar gelmek istediğimiz bir yer.

Olympos Mountain Lodge Kemer Secluded and Special Mountain Retreat 814301179 The Olympos Mountain Lodge was an unexpected treat and one of the highlights of our 2-week trip to Turkey in October. This small, 8-room lodge in the mountains 25 minutes above the Turquoise Coast was very special in multiple ways. First, the setting - in gardens with magnificent views, above the fray of the coast - was calm and restful. Next, the team of Mehmet, Su, and Basak, could not have been nicer and more helpful; for example, they recommended and drove us to a trail for some Lycian Way hiking, arranged a private (fantastic) yoga session, and packed sandwiches for our onward journey. It felt like being part of a family. And a wonderful surprise was their culinary wizardry. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, they delighted in preparing inventive 6-course tasting dinners and we delighted in eating! All in all, my husband and I found our 2 nights at the Olympos Mountain Lodge to be a wonderful and memorable experience, highly recommended, and we wish these innkeepers the very best as tourism returns.

For sharing my experience here, I received personal attacks in a recent review: calling me “mean-spirited” and fake (I reported the comment, and if this keeps on happening, I will take measures towards tripadvisor and authorities in Turkey. I added our invoice as evidence of our stay) At least an apology would have been appropriate if you have somewhat empathy for what we had to experience as your "guests". If there is anything wrong in what I have written, you can respond and say it is wrong, it is that simple. We booked 3 nights for 3-6 September, for a Covid-safe, silent, nature holiday with agean food but unfortunately got sick, had to extend our booking due to sickness & flied back after a very dramatic holiday. (The hotel has been handed over to new owners during 2021, beware that the older comments, ratings, pictures do not represent the current state. It obviously had a different atmosphere, kitchen, mentality & service standards during management of Jasmine and Hakan. They don’t serve aegean kitchen anymore, but only offer a small tasting menu for dinner, which costs 40-45 Eur per person (without drinks) and consists of 4+1 very small dishes that are experimental replications of european dishes for tasting.) There were no Covid measures in the hotel, no masks in the kitchen / during service. We even warned, the answer was that they are vaccinated, there is no Covid in Beycik, it is worse in other locations. They had guests from Istanbul, Ankara… We don’t know if those people did a test - noone asked us anything. If we knew this, we wouldn’t have flied to Turkey. They still have confirmation on Google, Tripadvisor etc that they follow Covid measures: please correct this not to mislead people. There is no À La Carte service in the hotel, although confirmed in *********** - no menu at all. This "tasting menu" in the evenings, is really for tasting, something that you most of the time receive as complimentary at many other restaurants. There is nothing from unique turkish/ aegean cuisine in it. No choice for customer - they don’t ask you any questions about what you want to eat at all, menu decision lies by the hotel owner. ( The dinner menu costs 45 Eur per Person, without drinks - also offered for 40 Eur on *********** ) For example our menu for second evening was: salmorejo, a piece of lambmeat with vanilla aroma, a very dry gnocchi with croatian cheese, salmon tartare on a cracker for 80-90 Eurs dinner without drinks. We wanted to order something À La Carte on next day, the answer was that there is not such an option ?!? (Please correct *********** information) Can you imagine that you are at a mountain pension, and the only option for dinner is such an expensive fix menu of small plates, and you have no control nor choice over what you will get within it? We felt helpless. We could have had wonderful aegean food elsewhere on the coast, with freedom to order what we like, if we wouldn’t be stuck at the mountain lodge. The tables wer

I also want to express my disappointment (and, frankly, disbelief) in the poor and mean-spirited review given by a reviewer for the Olympos Mountain Lodge in September. My own experience with TA includes writing nearly 200 lodging reviews from all over the world. I understand when hotel stays are out of sync with one’s expectations, but the review from flyingawaywithacat in September seems neither fair nor constructive, just angry. All in all, my husband and I found our 2 nights at the Olympos Mountain Lodge to be a wonderful and memorable experience, highly recommended, and we wish these innkeepers the very best as tourism returns.

I spent a week at this amazing place and wanted to stay forever. The design, the team, the food, the location... everything is perfect here. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into small details, and it feels like home from the moment you step in. Here you share an absolutely stunning nature and view with a few other guests in a very secluded place. Waking up to the smell of the most wonderful breakfast and enjoying it with a mountain view on one side and the Mediterrenean on the other was enough for me to call this my best vacation :) The talented owners of OML will take you on a gastronomical journey every night, this is fine dining at its best - without any pretentious crowds or noise, just a carefully picked playlist of great tunes and breathtaking views in the background. OML is the ultimate destination for food and nature lovers. A million thanks to Basak, Su and Mehmet Ali for curating the vacation spot of my dreams!
