This hotel is up in the mountains, with a great view of the sunrise if its not cloudy. Since this hotel is on the side of the mountain, there is a lot of walking up and down the stairs from the lobby to our room and for our meals. Food at the hotel restaurant is good, there are choice of buffet and ala carte available on local and western cuisine.

Wonderful staff in a hotel which makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time and are staying in a bit of a museum. Just a few minutes walk up the hill to be in the centre of all the sites. Breakfast was outstanding and opening the bay windows and corner window on our room let in the sounds of children’s singing and playing every morning. Loved our stay.

Overall, a very nice experience! Room was super nice and spacious with 24-hour hot water. The food in the restaurant was classy and delicious and the breakfast was of good standard.

It's a bit far from the Bhaktapur pottery market, about a 10-minute walk. As the hotel's name suggests, it has a unique atmosphere. You could even say it's a little eerie. However, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are spacious. There was a bathtub, but it took a while for the hot water to come on, and the water wasn't very hot. Also, for some reason, the hairdryer only worked for a few minutes. When I stayed there in early May, there were few guests, so it was very quiet, but on the other hand, I was the only one at the breakfast buffet, which made me feel a little lonely. If you want to stroll around the illuminated streets of Bhaktapur after dark and don't want to go back to Kathmandu, staying in Bhaktapur and relaxing is a good option.

I spent a week traveling through Nepal, and this hotel was where I spent the last few days of my trip. Despite being a three-star hotel, the lowest category I stayed at, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a classic feel, with very typical Nepalese decor. The furniture and wall decorations create a charming space, as if we were in an old, traditional Nepalese home. This authentic style adds a special touch to the experience. The breakfast service is very varied, with Western-style options, almost all of which were very good. Additionally, upon arrival at the hotel reception, you are greeted with a traditional drink and given a traditional scarf to wear around your neck, which is a very nice touch. As for the room, it was charming. The beds were comfortable, and the decorations were adorned with typical Nepalese furniture, which contributed to the cozy atmosphere. The television is tucked into an antique cabinet; of course, it's not a flat-screen TV, but since I don't watch TV, I don't mind. Overall, the room feels very comfortable, surrounded by a wealth of decor featuring typical Nepalese objects. Since we're close to the ceramic market, there were many ceramic objects throughout the room, which gave it a special charm. The bathroom was fine; everything was very clean and bright. Although there are some small details that could be improved, such as the electrical system where the wires for the new lighting are visible, these are only minor aspects that don't affect the pleasant atmosphere of the room. Additionally, I've noticed that they're expanding the hotel and have built a new building next door; although it's not yet finished, I imagine that the new space will have more modern decor and the most up-to-date facilities. Still, I can't complain at all about what I've seen in the hotel: the hallways and reception are very well maintained. What really stood out was the customer service. The staff proved to be true professionals, both at the reception desk and in the restaurant and cafeteria. Their kindness and willingness to help made my experience exceptional. Throughout my trip, I've visited many hotels, but the service here was truly outstanding. I recommend this hotel not only for its quality and charming atmosphere, but also for the excellent service they offer. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The environment is very good, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the square, which is not too close nor too far. But the room shower 🈚️ hot water, breakfast coffee extra charge, and no bottled water in the room (the hotel uses glass bottles, I don’t know what kind of water it is, I didn’t drink it) The bathroom has a strange smell. Apart from the appearance, the overall appearance is quite disappointing.

I had enteritis and spent a day in the room. It was pretty good and the location was convenient. Quiet. satisfy. It’s the photo in the lobby, the bronze statue, I don’t know who it is, the hotel owner? It’s a bit uncomfortable to get used to the different cultures 😂

This is the most pleasant hotel among the four places to stay in this trip. I chose to dine in the hotel for the last few nights. It is comfortable, hygienic, delicious, and the service is considerate and thoughtful. Every staff member in every position is worthy of praise. If I go to Kathmandu again, I will choose here again!
