Exploring the wild life and bird life of Keoladeo National Park and other wild life reserve in north India is his passion.

Spend a night at the Sancutary Tourist lodge. To date this has been the cleanest place I've stayed in whilst travelling in India. Rooms are basic, clean and spacious. Internet is good with no dropouts. The owner speaks good English and eagerly assists his guests. I opted for an English breakfast due to not being able to tolerate Indian spices. The lodge is located on the outskirts of town so you will need to get a tuk tuk to get to the centre, please don't pay any more than 50R

Sanctuary tourist is a good homestay, with reasonable rate and cooperative staff. But food is a bit costly.

The lodge is located less than 500 mtes away from the sanctuary gate. Very good and economical place.The rooms are basic, but neat and clean. Prefer room on the upper floor which are newly made.only thing missing is an cupboard(room however has ample provision to hang clothes) Food was pure veg and homely. Service was excellent. Mr. Avasthi takes good care of his guests and offers all the help needed.

Sanctuary home stay is near from birds sanctuary forest. Room is clean and staff was supportive, morning snack was also tasty.

1. Sanctuary tourist hotel is a horrible hotel. The room was clean but they didn't gave me any water to bathe which i badly needed on a sweaty hot day. They told me nothing could be done as the tank was hot. They didn't even tell me to save some water early in the morning when there was no sun. Moreover they kept on insisting me to check before it was not 12pm. They didn't believe and told me the booking was until 11am not before i showed my booking details which validates the check out time which is 12pm so i anyway left the hotel before 12pm as my cab didn't arrive to pick me up. You can check with the hotel if you want validation.

They have non ac and ac rooms which are well maintained with hot water facility. The food is very delicious, feels and tastes like home made food. If you are a wildlife photographer they can arrange rickshaw and packed food or get hot food delivered by your rickshaw driver. The over all experience was very homely and extremely satisfying. I will highly recommend them.

Better then my expectation for the price. Room, bathroom, bedsheet were clean. Food menu has limited options however taste and quality is good and well priced. Staff is polite and helpful. 3 days stay. Station to hotel is ~80 to 150 variable. Distance to park is walking 10 mins and by auto 10 rs sharing per seat.

aussergewöhnlich! sehr schönes zimmer, super sauber und so freundliche zuvorkommendendes personal 🫶geniale hausmannskost, welches im moment zubereitet wird! habe selten soooo gut gegessen! der weg zum wundervollen sanctuary park ist wenigen gehminuten erreichbar.
