Mercure Bradford Bankfield Hotel Reviews

A great and straightforward stay at a clean and welcoming hotel. I arrived on the night of a local school's leaving ball but, the hotel is suitably spread out that I didn't hear a single party goer during the stay. A short welcome on the door from a headmistress type was unusual but, it was soon established I wasn't joining the Gala, and headed to the Reception desk. Small feedback: I hate parking registration, why am I the guest expected to do admin on a touch screen. At least at the supermarket it confirms it has seen my car, instead here I start my stay with a fear I might have got my registration wrong.

Great value hotel with lovely grounds and helpful staff. The room was large and well equipped. It could do with a bit of redecoration, but cheaper than Travelodge when I stayed and significantly better.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful open grounds, spacious hotel and lovely breakfast.

Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and the room was lovely. The hotel layout was a bit confusing so maybe additional signage would help but overall a great stay, thank you

Style like Castle hotel , very unique. Close to scenery of Bingley five rise locks , only 8 minutes drive.

good overall service. perfect location. great local amenities.

Room was horrible. Hairs on bathroom floor and dead bugs on wall along with various stains Shower slow and warm at best  No heating or air con. No decent lighting. Corridors stank.  Night Manager was nice and helpful.

Old building,however interior is not bad at all

Nice enough hotel, room was spacious and well equipped. But it was a little bit old and grubby in the bathroom, not terrible but not brilliant. The old building is lovely but the extensions are pretty ghastly.

Big hotel with lots of rooms - bit dated and needs an up grade but friendly staff and good value for the cost.

For the price it was prefect , if the area again will stay here.

I found it difficult to find any of the staff, but once I did - nothing was too much trouble. all very friendly and helpful. The place is quite dated and needs a makeover badly. Gardens were nice and the location was perfect for me. Food was OK but breakfast was very dry, but tasty. Again the staff were especially good.
