Ibis Budget Birmingham Centre

The budget IBIS is exactly that. But it’s functional and clean and somewhere to crash out for an evening. This would have had an excellent were it not for the comfort cooling system not working and the toilet fixtures falling off the wall (both reported to reception desk).

I will not hold it against the hotel if other guests are making noises outside my door. The location is great, rooms are clean, well stocked with tea/coffee, staff is friendly and professional so what else can I ask for. It is not a spanking new hotel so do expect some inevitable wear and tear. As the weather turned hot the room was starting to get stuffy and I had to open the windows which looked out to a quiet alley. If I need to, I would stay here again as it is a pleasant place.
Woodlands Hotel

Booked two double rooms for me and three friends for one night to see the Test Match at Edgbaston. Very friendly staff at reception and breakfast. Great facilities and bigger than it looks from outside. Safe and secure parking at the rear. Very clean, spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Breakfast was excellent . 10 min taxi ride from Edgbaston and city centre. Excellent value - would recommend.

Digbeth
High cost performance, clean sheets and quilts, easy to wash, large dining area, nice decoration style, breakfast is very rich, there are many kinds of fruits, coffee and milk are available, and the bread provides many kinds of sauces, this is their home feature After all, eating in Europe is more expensive, which saves us a lot. If we go next time, we will definitely live here!

Great old historic building to stay in around 10/15 minute walk from Birmingham New Street train station & Bullring shopping centre. Nice bar downstairs with large beer garden & food available. Tall people will have to be careful of the low beams. Shared bathrooms were clean & looked to be kept tidy.
