City Hotel Bishkek

Very nice hotel. Quiet. Good surroundings. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. Breakfast is fantastic with a beautiful view of the mountains.

I've stayed here a few times. Hotels in Bishkek usually require advance booking. The lobby has been redecorated and there's a new casino, though it doesn't seem to get much traffic. You could still check it out.

The room didn't have any strange odors, and the cleanliness was acceptable. It was also relatively quiet. I really liked the wooden decor style. The location is super convenient for getting around. The restaurant offers views of the snowy mountains, but the breakfast was just so-so. It's a shame the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste.

I don't even know what to say, overall everything was bad. The main entrance is undergoing renovation, so guests have to enter the hotel through some back door, and you constantly have to drag your luggage – you can't roll it. On a double bed, there's a single-sized blanket (okay, they brought another one). There's absolutely no internet, none at all, and the staff's internet is the same. I don't know anything about the food, I didn't try it. You can't book a massage for your preferred time. In a room for two, there's only one cup and one glass. I don't recommend it and I don't understand where the high ratings come from. I don't think even after the entrance renovation, it will significantly improve the situation.

1. The room was really small, and there was no comb or toothbrush. 2. I stayed for eight days, and they only did a simple tidying of the bed each day; the sheets, duvet cover, towels, and bath towels were never changed. 3. The most ridiculous thing was that I left my Apple earphones in the hotel restaurant, and the staff threw them away for me. I spent almost 1000 yuan on them! In the end, the staff compensated me for 70%, but this exposed problems with the hotel's management. 4. The young man on the night shift on the 24th was unresponsive. Young man, do you know you're at the front desk? If you're so indifferent to guests, why don't you just fly to the moon? 5. The internet was incredibly bad. 6. At nearly $90 per day, with mediocre breakfast, the price-performance ratio was really not good. I suggest Chinese tourists choose this hotel with caution.

The room was generally nice and suitable for business trips to Kyrgyzstan.

A great hotel for short trips. Great minibar and service.
