The Rajbari Bawali

This is almost a hidden gem close to Kolkata. Property is esthetically restored with comfortable and luxurious rooms. Has variety of facilities and activities available. Food is exceptional with traditional Bengali food plus Indian and continental options. Evenings there is a decent cultural program with dance and songs. What stands out is service. Staff is very polite and courteous, they don't say no to any reasonable request, that is rare in Bengal. Only down side is unavailability of WiFi. Kids also complained about No TV, but that's a good thing perhaps. Overall this has been an awesome experience.

My experience is simply wonderful.. the suffs are very nice always smiling and redy to help.. food is amazing and so does the ambiance.. Nibedita make my daughter's birthday more meaningful and beautiful so special thanks to her... The room and the surroundings is very comfortable.

It was a heart warming experience. The service was outstanding and definitely added to the perfectly curated ambience. It was a step back to a different era and the peace and bliss needs to be experienced for those trapped in the urban bustle.

However, while the experience was positive, the professionalism at times felt a bit overwhelming, detracting slightly from the rustic charm of the setting. Additionally, the pricing seemed a tad steep considering some aspects of the quality offered. Despite these minor points, Rajbari Bawali remains a recommended destination for those seeking a taste of Bengal's rich cultural heritage amidst comfort and luxury.

Me and my husband had an amazing experience in Rajbari Bawali. The staffs are polite and humble. Food is just delicious. We totally loved every corner of this beautiful 300 year old property. It is super clean and hygienic. The only challenge we faced was with the wifi connection which I would request the owner to improve. We upgraded our room to Royal Suite which again was super big and loved the aesthetics of it. We were assigned Mr. Gautam, who would take care of our every need and he proved his worth. We were super happy with Gautam's service and undoubtedly his humble nature. We are soon planning again to visit this property with our family. Thank you Rajbari Bawali!!! We were totally mesmerized and super satisfied with our stay.

The rajbari is breathtaking. Serene , historic , lush and absolutely mesmerising. only an hour drive from Kolkata. But what really makes the stay unparalleled is the staff. So polite and hardworking. Shout out to Saurav Kanji , who made our stay so special . The nicest person you ll meet and made my father a birthday so so special

Not worth the cost . …. The rooms are ok , but the restaurant is a scam. The food served was stale and no cost regulations . The funny part is when u question them they will reduce the cost , and if you don’t they will try to con you . Very disappointed with the service .

The overall experience was good starting from the welcome , the dining and the hospitality shown by the staff . The property is well maintained and although we visited as a daycation during peak summer the interiors were cool and comfortable with AC . Recommend for a night stay during winter or monsoon to enjoy the exterior natural surroundings and taking a walk in the garden or sitting in the open veran*** during early morning or evening . Bill settlement was an issue and the card payment POS was not functioning but it was somehow ***aged later by the ***ager on insisting . Traditional Bengali cuisine served in earthen decorated plates were perfectly balanced in taste and the cool fruit flavoured mocktails were quite refreshing .

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is quite evident that a lot of effort that has gone in to create a perfect period ambience. Was greatly impressed by the eye for details. Absolutely no complaints regarding quality of service. A must-have experience
