Our second stay here. We all want different things from a holiday but we came back because this place has everything we want. It’s very efficiently run. Rooms are peaceful and clean. Beds comfortable. Superb showers. Wi-Fi good everywhere. Pool is clean and quiet. There is pleasant music from the bar area but never too loud or intrusive. Free bottled water left every day. Sunbeds always available. Staff pleasant and helpful. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Cats and kittens everywhere which we loved. Saw tortoises too. Breakfast is OK. Similar every day. Very efficient but surprising that it doesn’t open before 08:30. Bitez is a 10 minute walk downhill and there are plenty of good restaurants, supermarkets and places to book trips. Dolmus goes from right outside and is about 50p to Bodrum (need a card to tap). The bar restaurant has a limited menu. Burgers, pizza, toasties plus a few Turkish dishes. Food is fine but very few people seem to eat there and it closes at 8pm! Burger about £11. Pasta about £10. Beer £4. Soft drinks £2.80. Turkey was a lot more expensive this year. A meal by the beach of typical small meze plate starter plus a kebab and couple of drinks was about £40 a head. Probably worked out about the same as an all inclusive overall but we like the freedom. There is a washing machine and dishwasher so would suit a longer stay or working break.

Just fabulous ! Super large pool which is so clean. Rooms are large with nice bedding. We are in a family suite which is two rooms and a sitting area & kitchen. The ambiance is great … lovely planting of trees & bushes which makes it feel cool even when it’s super hot. I’ve been to Turkey many times over last 30 years & this is best hotel experience. My son in law works in hospitality & he agrees that it’s the nicest hotel for a family holiday. We have stayed for 12 nights & just had a wonderful time. The staff are just so kind & lovely& really go out of their way to help you. Whoever owns this gorgeous hotel should be very proud of their staff & the hotel. We plan to return next summer & enjoy it all again !

Very different from the images advertised. Not the luxury suites I expected. Arrived late ar night, grounds very dark, dangerous for those with mobility issues. Management unfriendly, no atmosphere. Staff don't speak hardly any English! Very limited utensils for an appointment. No dish cloths, bottle opener, cloths etc. Towels poor quality in bathrooms. Breakfast was sparse ( poor choice) no fruit laid out. Restaurant is expensive for what you get, and food is not good! Staff get orders wrong.... Bitez itself is dirty, and smells of sewage. Bins over-flowing and smell so bad. Roads and paths are a disgrace. 15/20 minutes in a taxi into Bodrum. No mini-market or anything near to the Dorman Suites. We asked to keep our room on until 6pm. They wanted €70!! The only positive thing was that the place was immaculate. Always cleaning the pool and garden areas. We were asked to leave the pool around 6ish as it closes!!! Definitely, not luxury accommodation. Would never return.

Family of 4 (2 Room apartment) Ideal family hotel, compact layout and short distance to the pool and bar. Very safe, staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Room sizes are perfect, kitchenette and lounge are very big. Pool size and depth is well thought out for a 10 year old and 13 year old to jump in and out on their own. Bar food is decent enough although limited. Quiet hotel in the evening and the location is spot on, taxi ride distances are as follows. Special thanks to bar manager Mehmet and Baytullah for making this a home away from home. Ps the cats are a bonus. Bitez beachfront is 5 min walk (okluptus restaurant v, good) Bodrum marina and cente - 12min Gumbet - 5min Airport - 40 min Yalikavak marina - 25 min Gormusuluk - 30min I would happily recommend this hotel and would visit again.

“ Dorman has its private beach, Dalga Beach. The beach is 4 km away and there is free shuttle service to the beach and from the beach to the hotel” This description of the private Dalga beach club is currently on trip adviser and on Booking .com which is who we booked with and was specifically the reason we chose the hotel as we were cel berating our friends 50 th birthdays . We were extremely disappointed to be told on arrival that the beach club had been sold in May . We were advised that we should have looked on Instagram then we would know . We had emailed Dorman three weeks previously to ask for the shuttle bus times and we’re not even told then that the beach club was not available. We asked for assistance to find an alternative beach club from reception and suggested to the manager that the hotel should be funding any additional taxi costs for us to get to another club. The F and B manager told us they had no way of helping us with anything but if it made us feel better she would make us a free drink ?????? We actually went to Hotel Ambrosia down the road who welcomed us and allowed us to use all their excellent facilities ..we stayed for dinner and were treated very well . The next day there was a note under our apartment door to say Dorman were closing their pool for the day …we were flabbergasted and again went to reception to be told different stories as to why such as somebody vomited in it to essential maintenance……why they would do this in high season is beyond us . Again no apology from staff. Breakfast was very limited for. 4 star …you have to pay extra for eggs…and fresh juice and there was only a dish of dried apricots as the fruit option . We are regular visitors to Bodrum and we would have loved to return as the apartments are spacious and comfortable but the price is not reflective of what you get with no beach club and staff that don’t really care about your experience there. The drinks are expensive and take 30 mins to get to yiu. On our check out they had put someone else’s lunches on our bill You need to do so much better Dorman Suites management.Yiur customer service is poor.
