Such a lovely hotel. Had a twin room, was absolutely gorgeous, really modern, clean, warm and comfy. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

No cot was given for our 2 year old boy do he had to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR FOR 2 NIGHTS. Also my wife's medication was near the bed and when we got back it wasn't there so the cleaners nicked it. The start were QUITE Rude. We would like some compassion

Whoever is reading this, please don’t stay here. You might get lucky and have an okay experience, but this place is like a ticking time bomb - you never know when it will go wrong. My family had one of the worst experiences ever a while ago. The staff showed no respect for their privacy, added hidden charges, and were extremely rude. They even demanded details about their personal itinerary and acted aggressively throughout the stay. It was a nightmare. Keep in mind: Best Western hotels are individually owned, so if something goes wrong, there’s no real authority to hold them accountable. We tried escalating the issue to Best Western headquarters; while they apologised, they admitted they had no control over this branch (I attached their reply below). All you can do is complain to the so-called “management team,” but they are the same people sitting at the reception - utterly unprofessional. Be very careful before booking.

Bedroom and bathroom were absolutely stunning. Comfy mattress. Plenty of tea and coffee. The negative I have for this hotel leaving my review was a 3/5 was I booked through triple for 2 adults and they changed it to 1 adult (no fault of the hotel of course) but on departure I was asked to pay £25 for my partner. I of course paid this but I did query as to why. The gentleman on reception explained that they had single occupancy guests complaining about the fact they were paying £105 for a room so they lowered a single occupancy to £79. I work for a hotel myself and we charge by the room , it doesn’t matter if there’s 1 adult or 2 adults and 3 children. They use the same room. A single occupancy guest could use the same amount of amenities as a family of 5. I do not agree with this extra charge and believe all hotels should be on room rate not the amount of guests. The 2 gentleman I dealt with were absolutely fantastic. This isn’t a complaint more of a criticism. Of course I understand staff are only following their policies and I completely respect that. I would have stayed with this hotel again but learning that it’s £25 for my partner to come into the room and share a king sized bed with me and 1 tea bag each is a bit silly. If we had squeezed into a single bed I’d completely understand.

Brilliant hotel, even better service. Very clean rooms, and they sorted out an error on the booking without any bother at all. Great location, with parking, and newly refurbished rooms. Very comfortable and a decent breakfast. Thank you!

I am trying to think of reasons why I cannot give the Best Western Hotel 99 a 5 star review. I cannot. Amazing hotel. Centrally located. Close to the railway station and shopping mall. Spotlessly clean, modern quality furnishings. Super breakfast.

Well appointed with modern decor. Staff all very professional. A great location for exploring the city of Blackburn and surrounding areas. Free parking, decent breakfast. A good place to overnight, despite being on a road junction the traffic did not disturb.

Landed here by chance for one night for a friends wedding. Two years old- extremely clean and well managed. Close to restaurants and shops- the mall. I had a single bed- which was fine- but small as I’m use to a double. Wi fi was good. Desk in room was great for working.

Rooms are spacious, good beds with lovely pillows. Super clean hotel, can’t fault the cleanliness. Really good breakfast. TV in bedroom but limited Chanels, lots of plug sockets in the room, beautiful bathroom with massive shower, parking on site, very lovely listed building, reception very helpful and very friendly, tea and coffee machine in room, lighting is good which you don’t get very often in hotel rooms. The breakfast lady was lovely, great service, good coffee. No communal seating area or lounge, no drinks bar but so close to the bars and local shops.

Very clean & nicely decorated. Beds were extremely comfy. Adam on reception was incredibly helpful and went above & beyond offering some suggestions on where to eat and checking on us. Would stay there again - within walking distance of station & King George’s Hall.

Room was so clean and comfy, the bathroom was 5 star all day, I have the misfortune of staying in many hotels due to my job, this was by far the best I’ve stayed in, not just recently but ever, please keep doing what you’re doing as it works, great for the concert hall, a 3min walk!
