A stay to remember… for better and worse I’ll start with the highlight: the staff at Blue Waters Hotel were absolutely exceptional. Warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly—they made me feel like I’d wandered into a live episode of Fawlty Towers, minus the chaos. Their charm and effort were the saving grace of my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in serious need of TLC. My room’s curtains detached dramatically and collapsed to the floor, leaving my window fully exposed to the car park and main street. Not ideal—especially with a rather sad pile of rubbish lingering in the corner outside. The leisure facilities didn’t fare much better. The pool was cloudy and didn’t feel well maintained, and the sauna was out of order during my visit. A shame, as I’d been looking forward to a relaxing dip. Dinner was, frankly, disappointing. We ordered roasted pork, which arrived cold, and the vegetables were so overcooked they seemed to have time-traveled from the previous night’s menu. Breakfast offered a decent variety, but the quality was just about passable. In short: brilliant staff, but the hotel itself needs a refresh—both in decor and dining. If you’re coming for the laughs and location, you might enjoy it. If you’re after comfort and cuisine, you may want to look elsewhere.

I found bird poo on the wardrobe, when I went down to complain man said he’s just night staff and to speak to somebody in morning, I couldn’t stay there an payed £90 for a uber home at 1am

Draw front was old and broken and resting in place unsecured so fell off on our feet. Sheets has some kind of sandy gravel. No remote for tv so couldn't turn it on. Sink was full of filthy water and hair - assume from cleaning the floor

The hotel is at very good location. Tram and bus stop just outside the hotel. Decent room. very very friendly staff. 10/10 for staff. The only thing I didn't like was the lift was not working.

We stay in 1 night room no 1 room is big and good size but toilet is dirty toilet smell come in room and whole night sound come from I think swimming pool out side room is soo dirty health and hygiene

Staff were great. Hotel is tired and needing updated. Could have been cleaner.

Free parking. I book for half board but not impress the meal and breakfast. Lift does not work. Room is ok.

Hotel was in a great location. Easy to find and the whole check in process was simple. Staff were very friendly and willing to help.

Very cheap no air conditioning. Good location but horrendous room.

The room was decent and clean. Everything is near as well.

Hi I am making a formal complaint against Bluewaters hotel Blackpool . Firstly id like to state we booked with *********** for the price of £275.76 from 23/23/2024 to 27/12/2024 after checking bank statement you have charged me £485.76 . Why? Next the place was a disgrace, very worn out and tired , staff run of their feet, frozen Christmas Day dinner at an extra cost of £75.00 !! Also we had the only suite which was situated next to the pool so had the noise of two running pumps and extractor fans 24 hours a day . After third day we left through lack of sleep and worry of food poisoning. We know we are not the only people complaining. We booked through you do hold you responsible for a refund. There are lots of places to complain and we will do that within 24 hours if no response Jean Osborne booking no. ***********
