We stayed here as a group celebrating a friend’s birthday. We were made to feel very welcome. Tony moved the tables so we could all sit together as a group, and he decorated the room with banners and balloons. All rooms a good quality, none of them particularly big, this is a former house , but all had everything we required. Tracy served breakfast, she was delightful, it was like staying with a friend, nothing was too much trouble. She also kept our rooms clean and tidy. The hotel is very attractive inside, with Tony’s artwork, and collections displayed beautifully. He’s doing work on the rooms and we look forward to a return in the future. We parked right outside, I doubt this would not be possible in high season, but there are two car parks close by. We liked the fact it was at the south end of Blackpool, a brisk wall along the front of 40 minutes to most of the attractions and the tower.

I stayed with the family for Easter weekend 2023 and was very impressed with the Parkroyal. The family room was plenty big enough for our family of four and the beds were very comfortable. We were in Blackpool to watch our team (Cardiff) play the Seasiders and to visit the pleasure beach theme-park. The location was perfect for us as it was about a 10 - 15 minute walk in one direction to the football stadium and about a 5 minute walk in the other to the theme park. With South Pier at the bottom of the street (2 min walk), there was plenty to see and do nearby. There is no shortage of food outlets in Blackpool but many were a bit pricey. Fortunately the hotel is very close to one of the biggest Wetherspoons I’ve been to, so you don’t have to break the bank. The full English Breakfast at the Parkroyal was all cooked fresh to order and was very tasty. There was also plenty of fruit and cereal etc to choose from. I have to mention Tracy who was an absolute star, she honestly couldn’t do enough for us, my two sons especially loved here cheerful personality in the mornings. I really appreciate the extra effort the hotel went to by hiding Easter eggs in the room for the boys to find. It’s the little touches that make a massive difference. Oh yeah, if you’re lucky enough to bump into Leon (the owners dog) give him big cuddle because he loves to make new friends. Highly Recommended!

Used this as a base for football , we paid the extra for superior king size and it was worth every penny . From outside it look’s pretty unassuming, but step through the door and it’s a whole different story, the place is full of fantastic artwork and other antiques ( loved the queen in a face mask outside our door. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere with regards to rules of the house and the staff can not do enough for you,as Tony says,if I ban it you will sneak it in anyway , so wine and beer glasses are supplied in the room and he will supply plates and cutlery if you fancy a takeaway ( definitely ten out of ten for that one ) It’s situated right in the middle of the south and we were a bit concerned regarding late night noise, but it was really quiet and peaceful and probably one of the best nights sleep we have ever had Breakfast was also right up there with the best, the fresh fruit selection was amazing with watermelon, galia melon and fresh cherries among the usual things on offer ,the hot cooked order is also of a really high quality and cooked to order so it’s all fresh and piping hot ,all served by Tracy who would probably win blackpools friendliest assistant competition! There are a couple of negatives , so here goes Parking. The street has free parking all the way down , but I think as a car moves out another moves in ,there is a paid car park on the corner but I think I worked it out as 23 quid for less than 24 hours depending on the timing of arrival and departure Solution, drive to south of the pleasure beach (the area around Clifton drive ) park up for free and it’s a lovely 10 minute stroll along the prom back to the hotel , when loading back up there is enough room to just bang it on yellows to load your cases etc , job done ! Second slight issue was that we could not get the hotels Wi-Fi to show on the options ,as we were only wanting it for a couple of hours we just used our 4 g on the phone , I will say it does say in his information book in the room to go and see him if there’s an issue so I’m sure that would be that sorted Would we go there again , it’s a definite yes from us.

We booked this b&b with another family who had come up to see us, on the premise there was a bar on site and it was close to all amenities. Location was perfect, directly opposite south pier, near the pleasure Beach and the wetherspoons. However, the rooms were very small, not much room for the family to move around in and tiny shower cubicle. They had thought of everything though, the finishing touches were great. Water in the fridge, minis in the bathroom. After check in we went to the bar for a quick drink as a meeting point but it was closed. Later that day after a busy day of walking, we all went for a night cap in the bar but it was still closed., despite the sign saying open daily between 3pm and 11pm. And same again the next day, bar closed!! Disappointing. However, breakfast was lovely, thought of everything and the lady who serves is lovely, very friendly and great with the kids. I would stay again as it was only somewhere to get our heads down but a few things could be improved 😁

I would recommend this hotel it was a 5 min walk to South Pier and The Pleasure Beach. The room was very clean and the breakfast and staff were amazing. The room size was't huge but ample for a fee days stay. Would book again in future!
