Alfa Inn

Having stayed here many times before we again enjoyed our latest ten day break at the Alfa Inn, Blankenberge. Many thanks to all of the staff at the hotel. Glad to see the parrot is still with us. Hope to return again next year. Best wishes John and Amy T.

The best breakfast included I ever have!!!

Very impressed with this hotel. Travelled with two kids under 8 and booked a junior suite with bunk / murphy beds. I was very impressed with the whole experience - for a three star hotel this far exceeded expectations. The rooms was spacious, clean, comfy beds, the bathroom was huge and I noticed it would be idea for older folks (seat in the shower, lots of grab rails). The kids loved the parrot in the common area. And the breakfast was wonderful - the only place I've ever had someone come to top up butter and milk before having to ask. The food was lovely, and I was charmed by the live pianist that played for the breakfast room - made a lovely atmosphere. The location is great - right in the center, we left our car in the parking (for a fee) and didn't need it again until leaving. The staff were really wonderful. The only thing I would suggest is to include a few extra pillows in the wardrobe of the guest rooms although I'm sure they could be requested from reception if needed - the staff were super helpful. Highly recommend this place.

We only stayed in Blankenberge for one night; this hotel is very good value, very clean, beds were lovely and comfortable, wonderful breakfast and exceptional staff. Thank you, we will definitely be back to stay.

Alfa is a lovely 3 star hotel that punches above its weight and compares with some 4 star hotels in which I have stayed. Dirk, the friendly proprietor ( ex Savoy, allegedly!) helps to ensure his guests have a lovely experience. The Buffet breakfasts are superior to many. A great find in an attractive resort.

Het was super goed

I actually stayed at the alpha inn in 2019 with my mum while on a short break. I've been meaning to write a review for a long time since them, not just because the room was great, the breakfasts were spectacular, and the location was as good as you could get. The best thing was the staff who were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I left my precious silver Claddagh ring behind in our room and I was heartbroken when I realised as we were already travelling home to the UK. Imagine our surprise to receive a letter in the post a few days later with a postcard from the hotel and my ring inside! I cried with relief and the knowledge there are truly good people in the world. I think of that kindness every time I wear my ring and it reminds me to pass it on! Thank you for that, and sorry I took so long to write this review!
