Hotel Triglav

Nothing seemed to be working, not the saunas, not the restaurant, and the lady at reception was not necessarily best suited for the service industry guest interaction. First we asked about food….she said there is none. No explanation about the restaurants being closed or that, as we later discovered that we can at least order a cake and fruit to our room. We ended up having to eat over priced fries and bad pizza for dinner down at the lake, tired after out drive and no attempt by the hotel to ease us into our stay. No recommendations and even when we asked it felt like we had to fish for answers or like our questions were stupid _ asking where we could eat and about kayaking on the lake. She looked at my dog and then looked at me like I was a naughty schoolchild “you did not say there would be a dog. You know there is a dog fee.”  I knew that but the way she said it was just worth an eye roll. Potential but for us somewhat of a lame experienc. I hated that we were not told there would be no restaurant on the day we booked. Neither sauna it turns out….neither…..

This has become my favourite hotel on lake bled! The views, the food, friendly staff and character of the building, makes this hotel stand out above the rest. Situated with amazing views over the lake but away from any noise, every area of the hotel has a view. Breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The triglav breakfast was a highlight !

The only great thing about this hotel are the views and the staff. It is very tired and the so called fabulous restaurant isn't even open for dinner. It is out of the way too. Nowhere ti sit and admire the views unless in the restaurant areas. How you describe it as exceptional is beyond me

The hotel was not a good fit for us. It was clean, room and balcony were spacious, the staff was polite, and the view from our balcony was truly spectacular. But it’s on the quiet side of the lake, had an extremely limited restaurant menu (one page total with plenty of white space) the bathtub is poorly configured and the place personified faded beauty. Think late Victorian chic. To be fair, I noticed there were returning customers as we checked in, so lots of people must be satisfied. Other than the million dollar view, it was not a place I’d pay to return.

A beautiful setting with staff that went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic!

Flawless experience from start to finish. Staff are amazing and super accomodating to any requests. The view is to die for if you have a lake-side room! Didn’t manage to use the pool or sauna, but I am sure they are amazing. This place perfectly executes all the little bits that make a stay memorable, especially little things like the accessories kit you get with thread and needles and buttons and face pads and the likes, little things like that make me recommend this place so highly. I also appreciated the healthy minibar that came with my room! If I am ever back in Bled, I will go there without a seconds’ hesitation and recommend others do too

Staff super friendly. The location is amazing. Hotel is clean and the restaurant view is something to behold.
