The room has potential. Much about the room was fine. Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter.

I just had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Comfortable room, super clean, perfect scenery outside of window. There is the best lovely mountain view from my room. Breakfast was great and we find out thet we are sleep in where also the best restaurant in Bohinj. Just great & service was also great and kind. If it's possible, will select the hotel for next visit in Bohinj.

A lovely family run hostel with very comfortable bed and pillows. All rooms have access to a balcony with a lovely sun trap, handy to dry off your towel and bikini if you have been swimming in the Bohinj. It also has a bath, which was such a luxury for me as I have been hiking and aching from the walk. It is very clean and loved. There is a bus stop right outside the Hostel. The Alpetour bus from Bled or Ljubljana drops you off here, ask the driver. The closest train station is Bohinjska Bistrica, an hour walk but the local bus takes you near enough. Get off at the post office. It’s a 30mins (2.3km) scenic walk to the lake or Ribčev Laz. There is a Mercato Supermarket in Ribčev Laz. The food is Amzing! So fresh with local Bohinj caught on the day and delicious wood oven pizza. I struggle to decide. Locals travel here for the pizza

Exactly what we were looking for. Clean rooms, hot water, comfy beds, lots of hooks, lots of wood and mountain views on all sides. Simple and bright. We wanted a base for some days skiing and exploring and it was easy. Best thing was the breakfast - which was INCREDIBLE - varied, delicious and filling and the staff were super helpful. Another plus is that the rooms are above a favourite restaurant of the area, so there's a great hearty and homely atmosphere and then you just go upstairs to bed and replenish your energy for another day in the mountains! If you want to go to Bohinj lake or Bled, it's on the main bus route across Slovenia, so easy to get to. And if you have a car, there's a car park too. We thought price was good compared to other options nearby.

Lovely place opposite a big park and the bus stop. I did not stay as a guest however I stop for lunch. Was nice and tasty I ordered a big plate of bbq meat. The service was very nice and polite. The place is big spacious with outdoors and indoors seating. They have a big pizza oven. Toilets were clean, you can pay with credit card or cash. They have parking on site.

Very friendly and helpful staff accommodating us at short notice. The room was very clean with a lovely little balcony. Food was wonderful. Would higly recommend.

Staff were lovely, rooms functional, clean, and comfortable. Pizza restaurant excellent. Breakfasts amazing choice.

Great place, good food. Tiny room. Great place to stay close to Bohinj. Excellent breakfast! Great pizza restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms are really small and not a lot of space to put luggage. For some reason not a single hook in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes to dry.

The breakfast was quite good and the room was nice. The guesthouse offers a parking place, but is often full because of restaurant's guests. We had a standard room. The room had air conditioning, but it didn't work. The rooms are located on the upper floors and the guesthouse does not have an elevator. I don't recommend it for people with limited mobility. Check-out was by 10:00. The accommodation price is quite expensive. Maybe not the best value for money. Probably the restaurant is good, but we didn't have time to test it.
