Very nice hotel. We moved to Bologna, so we stayed in this hotel again. The front desk recognized us at a glance. This is the third time I stayed in this hotel. It is very cost-effective, very clean, and the breakfast is also good. I recommend everyone to stay here.

The room was good, and the breakfast variety was quite extensive, much better than what we typically encountered in Italy. However, I found some of the service staff a bit unpleasant, and their attitudes weren't great. We also got the distinct impression of subtle discrimination against Chinese guests (though it wasn't overtly obvious, so perhaps we were being oversensitive). For example, my companion recounted that at breakfast, when just two of us sat at a four-person table, a staff member immediately approached us to say that two people couldn't take up a table for four. Yet, moments later, two Caucasian guests sat at a four-person table, and nothing was said to them. There were other similar instances.
Our room was not cleaned very well. On one of the towes there was lipstick from a previous guest. Many of the elements and details in the room were off or broken, which is not to be expected from a 4 star hotel. The windows had no nets to stop the flies. The person at the front desk asked me for a credit card for a deposit for the mini bar in the room. Although I told him I do not intend to use the mini bar, he insisted to provide a card in order to be able to check in and as I did not want to leave my card with anyone, he wrote down my card details. The room temperature can’t be controled and it was so hot, that at one point I woke up middle of the night and thought I had died and went in hell. There is nothing near the hotel so the only water you can buy is from the mini bar and it was extemely overpriced. The breakfast was pretty much the only thing on point as the waiters were very nice and polite! All in all, for the price which was the cheapest the hotel is an acceptable option in case you value your money and can close your eyes for a few things.
