My partner and I got the unit on the third floor which had a very strange way to access it after 3 flights of stairs, you'd have to go up and down 3 steps again. When we arrived for check in there were multiple guests in line waiting to be shown to their room. This wasn't that big of a problem since Italian culture isn't that prompt. Positives: - location is real walkably close to markets, bus stop, landmarks - candy on the side table - ample toilet paper - wifi password on back of the door - smart home style entry code - the hosts provide a list of recommended restaurants Negatives: - The bath tub would not seal so it will never fill up for a bath) - heated towel rack wouldn't turn on - air conditioner made a periodic buzzing sound that made it hard for my partner to sleep as he's a light sleeper. Some interior design awkwardness that made the stay less convenient: - there's no toilet paper holder next to the toilet so you have to reach past a bidet to a pyramid of toilet paper on a side table - there's no lighting above the shower stall - you have to ensure you close the shower stall really tightly or the water will drip all over the floor - no olive oil in the kitchen so you'll have to buy your own if you're cooking 🙈
