Savoia Hotel Regency

we stayed as a family with two children. We stayed in the family room. the room was big enough. Since we had a four-night stay, our stuff was a bit too much, so the wardrobe was insufficient. There is also no shower in the bathroom and you have to get in the tub and take a shower. We couldn't take a comfortable shower because we were tall. We had a nice time in the hotel pool. Towels are chargeable. francesca at the pool bar was very helpful to us. There can be an organization at the hotel on weekends. we were not disturbed. breakfast was not amazing. it was just enough. The hotel restaurant was amazing. You should definitely make a reservation in advance. We arrived at the hotel by Uber from the airport. The bus is very handy to go to the centre. You can go by bus number 20. Marco at the reception was very helpful to us. I can come back to this hotel.

Car park was convenient not far from main door. The hotel is large and with amenities. Breakfast around the pool was relaxing. Only 10-15 minutes by car to down town however if you need the hotel can get you a taxi. The main desk workers are very knowledgeable and their English was excellent. Rooms were a bit small but you’re here to see the sights. Shower was hot and great towels, shampoos, etc. provided

We were upgraded to a rooftop suite for my 60th birthday. The suite was fantastic, with a private rooftop terrace, 2 sun loungers, outside dining and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was included. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Disliked · The fridge in the room was broken. We had to wait over 2 hours for a replacement before we could unpack and store our chilled food and drinks.

This was our third visit to Savoia Regency and I doubt it will be our last. From the moment we arrived we could feel our troubles melting away. We were greeted warmly on arrival and we were able to have some lunch while we waited for our rooms to be ready. We stayed in a suite and it was wonderful, so spacious. Pigeons on the outside terrace were a bit of an issue but we weren't out there too much. The room had everything we needed. The only slight negative is the floor is a bit dated. My son was in a loft room nearby and his room was lovely, perfect for him. Hotel location is very good. A taxi in to the city takes less than 10 mins and costs €10 - €15. There is a supermarket a short walk away if you need any supplies, there is a bigger supermarket / shopping complex about 20 mins walk away if you can manage it in the heat or would only be a very short drive if you have a car. The outside space at the hotel was very enjoyable. Lots of sun loungers even at busy times, staff are so lovely, the pool was very welcome during the hot weather. Another wonderful stay, we will return.
