Hotel Centrale

I spent 285 euros a night for five nights at this hotel, and it was a complete nightmare. First, the 12-14 square meter room mentioned on Ctrip is complete nonsense. The room was incredibly small, probably only 7 square meters at most. When you opened the door, you'd see a large bed and a tiny, oddly shaped table, and nothing else. I couldn't even open my large suitcase; you had to take out your things and put it upright. The bathroom was 1 square meter, and the toilet was about 0.5 square meters. You can imagine how tiny it was. It was exactly the same as what you'd find in a typical 70 euro hotel. The only saving grace was that it was about a 5-10 minute walk from the city center, with plenty of restaurants nearby. But for 285 euros a night, I felt completely ripped off and taken advantage of! I went there for an exhibition and stayed there for five nights, and it felt like an eternity! I'll never trust Ctrip's descriptions again! It's better to book a star-rated hotel! This is a guesthouse with a hotel sign! Very, very bad 👎 accommodation experience!
