My husband and I really liked this hotel for its comfort, cozy room, and beautiful view from the window. 😍 It's a large, spacious hotel. After spending 5 days in Italy staying in small, 'apartment-style' hotels, it was a pleasant surprise to end our trip in a place like this. The location is incredibly convenient: the train station is just a stone's throw away, and beautiful parks and squares are right around the corner. The historical center is about a 15-minute leisurely stroll under shaded arcades. They offer a delicious buffet breakfast, and a 12:00 PM check-out, which was also a welcome change after having 10:00 AM check-outs at the smaller hotels. I highly recommend it to everyone!

This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy 🏨. There was a slight hiccup during check-in; they initially found our booking for six months later. But after realizing it was a misunderstanding, they upgraded us! The room was very spacious, enough to lay out two suitcases, and the bathroom was also huge. I would definitely recommend it to friends visiting in the future.

Breakfast was weak. But other than that, it was very good. Great that it's close to the station, city center, and shops. Plus for the gym.

This hotel is directly opposite the train station, offering standard 5-star amenities. The lobby is grand and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious, equipped with a coffee machine, beverages, and a kettle. The bathroom's shower and vanity are bright and clean. It's the perfect place to come back to for a quiet and relaxing rest after a busy day of meetings! 👍

Very nice hotel, centrally located directly opposite the main train station. The rooms are spacious and lovely with very good, adjustable air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is extensive with both hot and cold options, and nothing was missing. The only minor complaint is the hotel entrance; it's a revolving door that's quite narrow, making it difficult for guests with large, bulky luggage to get through.

For tourists, the front desk should be friendly and clearly explain any potential charges. My check-in and check-out process this time was unpleasant. Compared to other European countries, the front desk staff at this hotel made the stay feel very bad.

Excellent location just opposite to central station but 15-20mins to Piazza Maggiore/the old town centre. Service was very good, especially concierge. Very spacious room size. We are on the 7/F and got a view overlooking the city. The only issue was the sink drainage was not good and overflown. Overall good experience and recommended.

I stayed in both mercue bologna and this hotel, so can make a more fair comparison. 1) if you are a sound sensitive sleeper, please NEVER stay in the hotel facing the train station side. You can hear the train!! I requested a room facing the opposite site, Mercure gave me a quiet backyard one, but Starhotel didn’t. 2) if you are a Accor member, you’ll get minibar free at Mercue! However, there’s even not a bottle of water provided at Starhotel…. 3) if you choose breakfast included, mercue provides a very decent one with various fresh fruits! However, Starhotel one can make you feel depressed after two days… and I even have to skip the last one because the line looks like taking at least an hour to even get in…. 4) in short, mercue is better, and I don’t know why it gets a very low rating at Google, and I will never come back to this hotel.

This time i book this for the F1 race in Imola, it just next to Bologna train station, very good optikn
