🚗 Transportation: The location is very convenient, just next to the market, the exterior is beautiful (the picture below is the exterior is so beautiful)
🧹 Hygiene: clean and tidy, the bathroom is marble tiles
🍃Environment: Very good, the design of the hotel is exquisite, and the details can even be reflected on the room card key. There are also sloped roofs and attic windows in the room🪟 very cute

My husband and I had an excellent experience at the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The location could not be beat. Would definitely return here and recommend to friends and family.

Steps away from the main Christmas market. We could actually saw the market from our room. Although the Christmas market itself is not as big as other cities/towns like in Nuremberg, Munich, Vienna, Zurich, etc. but the old town itself is very charming. Walking distance from the train station (less than 10 minute walk). We booked a comfort double room. The room itself is quite spacious. When we travel, we always ask for a room with no interconnecting door. This time we ended up with a connecting door to another room, however surprisingly we did not hear any noises. We're told the hotel was fully booked thus that adjacent room should have been occupied as well. Lots of closet space, mini bar, hot water kettle for coffee/tea, slippers, bathrobes, free Wi-Fi, air condition and a window that we could open. They have parking garage as well. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area.

Hotel is right on the Piazza Walther Platz and you are in the Xmas Market within a few steps. Inside the hotel is a mix of the old - antique furniture on the landing and very modern rooms. Our room was spacious excellent storage space a large comfortable double bed bathroom was excellent very good shower. Breakfast was an excellent continental with wide range of local cheeses and meats, pastries also tasty. Staff friendly.

We traveled as 3 couples, 3 brothers plus wives around NW Italy and Austria. We stayed one night in Bolzano at Hotel Greif. The only negative was the parking. Just a little tricky, but doable. Gorgeous rooms. Ours was on top floor so we had vaulted ceilings with skylights that had power shades to close at night. We looked out over the square. Great bathroom with all the necessary items. Breakfast was included and very tradition and delicious. The hotel is centrally located to all of the shopping, restaurants.

This is an excellent choice for several days in Bolzano. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is set in a pedestrian area, an easy walk from the train station. We had a large suite with three windows overlooking the town square. The room was well furnished including large cabinets as well as a coffee maker setup. The room had ample storage place. The king sized bed was comfortable. It has a large modern bathroom with shower, bidet, and tub. Unlike the experiences of a few recent reviewers, we found the hotel to be clean, modern, and well maintained. And yes, all of the lights worked. The breakfast selection was outstanding with extensive selections of breads, meats, and cheeses. The dining service was perfect. You could eat outside on a patio overlooking the pedestrian walkway or dine inside. The front office staff was extremely hospitable and helpful giving us suggestions on local dining and local events and sights. The hotel cleaning service was excellent. We would certainly stay here the next time we are in Bolzano. Tip: You may want to consult the Bolzano events calendar for evening events taking place on the square. Even with double glass windows it was noisy with a band festival one of the three evenings.

Hotel Greif is a lovely properly. Old town Bolzano is not that large and the hotel is right there off of Walthaplaz. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station and 7 minutes to the bus station-they are adjacent to one another. There are plenty of great restaurants just steps away.
The rooms are a decent size for Europe-with bathrobes and slippers in the room. The room was clean and quiet with a tea and coffee maker in the room along with tea and cofee.
Breakfast was a selection of cereals, fruit, choice of eggs made to order, breads, cheeses, meats, yogurt, some vegetables and desserts.
I would easily stay here again. It is a lovely hotel in a great location. You will not be disappointed should you chose to book this property.

Absolutely stunning hotel and room. My double was on the top floor overlooking the iconic Bolzano square and even featured a baby-grand piano. Everything was spotless and stylish. There was an initial wobble with my reservation between ******* and the hotel but the front desk was eventually able to sort it out. Some rooms are up a flight of stairs so those with mobility issues should double check with the hotel before finalizing the booking.
